Legend of the Green Dragon

For those hardcore old-school RPG players, ever heard of Legend of the Green Dragon? It's a text-based RPG that can be found littered across the Internet. I've been playing it off and on for about 10 years. After I go away from it, I can never stay away for more than a year. It's like a drug that I have to have again. I'm playing it now, on a server that I've been faithful to for a few years now, and I'm starting to remember some of the quirky aspects this iteration has.

Anyway...what was the point of this? Oh yeah, anybody ever played it/heard of it?

I'm sure it's not as popular as it once was, but once in a while I get that itch to pick it up again.

I want to play the smurfing original Legend of the Red Dragon by Seth Abel or whatever his name was. Not all these knockoffs! But yeah I loved playing these games, spent way too much time playing them xD

Isn't LoRD still around? I mean, I haven't gone looking, but I thought it was.

Okay, this server is starting to kick my butt now. Out of nowhere, I will run into an enemy that deals 700 damage to me, when I have nowhere near that much health. *rage*

LoRD disappeared from the web a while ago. I spent a couple years searching off and on but that was a fair while ago now so I don't know if it's come back or not. It was just way bigger than the Green Dragon variants.
