So let us discuss the most heterosexual activity out there. (it's far more manly than sexual intercourse)
I've been a pro-wrestling fan ever since I was a kid. Growing up, my fave wrestlers were Triple H and Shawn Michaels. I was and still am super-jealous of Trips' hair. If you've seen it before he dumped water on it, it's positively gorgeous.
These days, I like to revisit the 90s and 80s. I like a lot of wrestlers from all different eras.
So how about this.
1. Who are your favorite pro-wrestlers?
2. Post your favorite wrestling music like so.

My favorite wrestlers differ by era. There are really only two eras for me when it comes to pro wrestling: the late 1980s/early 90s (the 'Hulkster' era) and the late 1990s/early 2000s (the 'Attitude' Era). My favorite wrestlers are:
Hulkster Era:
1. Bret 'The Hitman' Hart
2. Mr. Perfect
3. Macho Man Randy Savage
Attitude Era:
1. The Rock
2. Chris Jericho
3. Kurt Angle
I also really enjoyed Shawn Michales, but he came into his own after the Hulkster Era and did not wrestle much in the Attitude Era due to injury. And of course Steve Austin, the poster child for the Attitude Era, was always a crowd pleaser. Austin vs. McMahon is the best wrestling storyline ever. The best wrestling stable ever was probably DX. I still crack up when I think of that time they all impersonated The Nation.

Wrestling has been doing it's very best to murder itself lately. Though I do love CM PUnk and Bryan Danielson.
We have WWF doing everything it can to make it's World Title feel like it doesn't matter, and then there is TnA doing whatever the fuck it is they do.
I'm pretty much a product of the Attitude Era. The Rock, Chris Jericho, and the Undertaker were where it's at. And I always felt WWF way underutilized Taz when they picked him up. Taz was a fucking beast of a wrestler.

Oh man. I am not one for muscles, but I would totes get down with John Cena.
I haven't watched wrestling in a while (girlfriends and I used to gather and watch WWE and laugh) but aside from Cena, Edge was my favie.

Apperently his back is beyond messed up at this point, so he retired as WWE Heavyweight champion before he screwed his back up for life.

I grew up with Edge as part of Edge & Christian. They, the Hardyz and the Dudleyz made Tag Team Wrestling something special again. Not a huge fan of his singles stuff but I realy didn't watch wrestling by that point.
How about some WCW/nWo love? It went downhill in its final years perhaps but there were still several awesome years before that.

Ya know Rey actually wanted Nash to throw him through the window.

I've been a huge professional wrestling fan since I was about 7 or 8. I still watch wrestling these even if it's not as good as it once was. My favorite wretlers are:
Hulkster Era:
Randy Savage
Mr Perfect
Sgt Slaughter
Attitude Era:
Stone Cold
Mankind
Triple H
Current Era:
CM Punk
Dolph Ziggler
Sheamus
My love of sports entertainment as they call it now has even lead me to try my hand at it myself. I went to a few weekend training camps in 2010 & 2011 but finally back in May I started going to wrestling school regularly (2 classes 4 hrs total a wk). It's a great after work hobby as it's very out of the ordinary but it's very tough. My lower back from learning to "take bumps" is pretty sore I won't lie & I'm covered in bruises

I haven't watched wrestling at all in years, but I will always have a lot of respect for Mick Foley. There are tons of other wrestlers that I loved growing up, but that man regularly went above and beyond in terms of the abuse he was willing to take to put on a good show. The classic Hell in the Cell match between him and the Undertaker will always be one of my favourites.

I didn't start watching until about 1999/2000.
Attitude Era:
1) Mick Foley
2) Chris Jericho
3) Kurt Angle
Current Era:
1) Dean Ambrose
2) Cody Rhodes
3) CM Punk
There are a lot of problems with the current era, but I've noticed many glimpses of brilliance. I think that they need to work on consistency issues, along with real 'payoffs' for their angles.

You guys don't have any favorite entrance themes? Wrestling is full of great music ya know.
Like you guys who remember the Attitude Era, do you remember this badass guitar version of Undertaker's theme?

My roommates religiously watch WWE and it's like the worst thing ever. I watched it for a whole night with them once, and it was just this tremendous amount of crap.

The Miz' theme. I work out to it. Also David Flair because it sounds like some kind of alternative rock version of Yakety Sax and I think that's hilarious.

I remember going to Summerslam in London when I was about ten. It was amazing!
Macho Man v Ultimate Warrior, British Bulldog v Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels v Rick Martel.
I remember Legion of Doom coming to the ring on a pair of Harley Davidsons.

I don't watch the current era too often but If it's on I might flick over to it for a while. I watched it often enough throughout the attitude era.
My favourite wrestlers of the attitude era were The Rock, Goldust, Chris Jericho, & The Undertaker. I thought Goldust had by far the best gimmick in WWE history & should have been put to better use. The Rock is of course a legend.
Current Era: CM Punk, decent wrestler & and great on the mic. Dolgh Zeigler (whatever way it's spelt) & Shaemus make up the rest.

When they let Ziggler talk he is awesome.
But yeah, CM PUnk and Brian Danielson are the best two guys they have right now, Sheamus is pretty bitchin' too. If only the writing were up to snuff. :(
And while he's not my favorite, HHH's theme is bitchin'. But then I'm just a big Motorhead fan. :p
