I have a crazy urge to watch the hell out of some Star Trek: TNG right now.

What shows/film series do you like to have marathons with?

One day I will do a 24 season 1 marathon. It will probably require about 20 hours since each episode is less than an hour.

Been plowing my way through Prison Break. Watched three of the four seasons in probably about 4 days or something. That's like, 60 odd episodes.

Haven't really been having a marathon since I have to work most days, but my wife and I actually have been watching the crap out of Star Trek: TNG. We're on Season 5 and we started maybe a month ago or less. Not quite sure. We have marathoned shows like BSG, Doctor Who, Stargate SG-1, Firefly, Hercules and Xena before though.

Once we're done TNG I plan on introducing her to DS9 since she's never seen it.

I was also considering a Prison Break Season 1 marathon. It may be my favorite season of a show ever.

Lord of the Rings (extended editions) - I keep meaning to have a Back to the Future marathon at some point too.

Recently did a movie marathon of the X-Men movies. I've been wanting to do a Star Wars movie marathon.

Law & Order: SVU. It's one of the most satisfying things I have ever seen in my life.

Marathoning is the only way to watch old TV. Coincidentally, I also started on old Star Trek episodes just the other day (I've only ever seen about half of TNG before).

After seeing Wet Hot American Summer, I can't watch SVU without taking Stabler seriously.

I watched the old 90s Spider-Man animated series in about four days a few months back when I got Netflix. Good times.

Jowy what the hell is Wet Hot American Summer and why the hell was Stabler in it

God, Wet Hot American Summer is the best fucking movie on the planet. +1, Eric.

I think I'll marathon Big Bang for the rest of the day, actually.

Wet Hot American Summer is a parody movie about summer camp films. Chris Meloni plays the insane cook who has conversations with a talking can of mixed vegetables voiced by H. Jon Benjamin.

I like watching several Law & Orders. Or Monk. Right now I'm just watching lots of family guy.

I think Marathoning was officially renamed "watching TV" when Netflix starting putting 7-10 seasons of shows up at a time. I pretty much picked a series and it became background noise while I messed with around with graphics programs or some inane project for 12 hours on a saturday. I'm pretty sure me and my wife killed like 40 or 50 complete seasons of different shows in a matter of a month or two when we first got Netflix.

Marathon everything. We often have people round to our flat to marathon TV/anime/movies. We have them every now and again, I believe it's my turn to pick some crap to watch. The best one was probably the Alien series marathon, broken up with Gamer after watching Aliens. Started off well, degenerated into bad movies.
