View Full Version : Body Hair

What level of body hair is acceptable? At what point does a man (or woman) devolve back into an ape?

I have a quite a hairy chest and hairy legs but that's it though I know even that can be too much for some people. My friend has a ridiculously hairy back and is quite frankly... an abomination.

What do we all think?

I don't like facial hair on a guy. Sometimes a 5 o'clock beard can be pulled off (stubble, shadow, whatever) but facial hair is gross and trashy. And obviously like you said with the back hair, and I'm really weird about guys with hairy stomachs. Yuck.

As for women, we should be shaved, no doubt. Sometimes in the winter I'll let my legs go for a few days if no one can see them.

I'll take my body hair over stubble itch, razor burn and the chance of an ingrown hair. I look manly and feel manly.

It bugs me that I have body hair, but not nearly as bad as a couple of my buddies, so I feel fortunate.

The only hair on my body is on my legs. Unless you count the ones on my arms, but those hairs are invisible to the naked eye. And I never waxed it off or anything - I'm just naturally bald all over :) And I love it - I feel free and always considered body hair icky.

My hair is dark dark dark dark dark. All of it is, no matter where it is located on my person. And my skin is pale. This is a horrid and dire combination and it means I have to shave and tweeze and etc. all the time and I hate it.

I'm pretty okay with body hair on men unless it's back hair or neck hair.

Facial hair is a must, though. Bring on the beards.

I once dated a guy who had these little black hairs growing out of his nose not nostrils. His actual nose. It was gross.

Every female (and male) is different. Some ladies love their men shaved clean like a prepubescent boy, and some ladies like their men super hairy. Your mileage may vary.

Try to find a female partner who isn't a shallow, stuck-up bitch. That will probably help.

I find shaved arms really uncomfortable. No matter how hairy your arms are, ladies, keep them bad boys natural. Baby smooth arms and arm stubble genuinely give me shivers.

Regarding my exceedingly handsome face, I grow facial hair like a seven year old girl, so I don't really have a choice. Spent the last two months growing out some variation of a beard. Not sure how I'm gonna shave it now, though. Van Dyke? Goatee? Hyde's sideburns? Samurai 'tache? So many options.

Once upon a time I preferred no body hair but now I pretty much don't care. Hairy chests are manly, non-hairy chests are manly. I don't like back/neck hair, though.

This is the part where all the chicks insist on shirtless pics of EoFF men. Or beard pics.

Beard pics might even be better.

Huxley shaved once the entire time he was visiting me (he was here for a little over a month) and the most he ever got was some stubble. It was cute.

That still counts as like, two-week-shadow instead of five o' clock shadow, sweetie.

Compared to most of my friends, I'm an ape when it comes to body hair. I have a hairy chest and some growth on my stomach too. I also have hairy legs. Plus the beard of course.

Oh, you do NOT want to see me topless, trust me. As for a beard - at two weeks of no shaving my chin looks as if it sprouted spider legs or something at most. I mean, when I stroke my face it's nice and fuzzy, but you can't see a thing. Phantom facial hair?

I do not care for facial, chest, back and stomach hair.

Personally I only shave my legs once a week. It's awesome having fair hair :D

Body hair is great on men. No limit on how much either. Men are meant to be hairy.

Women shouldn't have hair anywhere but the top of their head and eyebrows though.

Speaking of which, I can't tell you how awful those women who shave their eyebrows off look. And no, drawing fake ones on doesn't help. Stop that.

Old, recycled pictures of beardness.

I'm a manly man and therefore naturally am hairy. I like Julian am a bit of an ape. I'm fully capable of growing a fully acceptable beard within a week. I look physically better with body hair it must be said.

The general consensus of the world is that back hair is and never will be okay. This is a sentiment that I can agree with. Also not fond of neck hair and it can be easily removed anyway, so it should be. Back hair is harder, but if you have it, please get rid of it, or just never take your shirt off in public ever. No one wants to see that ish.

Something else I'm not crazy about is dudes having mustaches unless they're a cop or an old dad, or Freddie Mercury. What is worse, is women with staches. I saw a woman in Walgreens with one. D:

It entirely depends on the guy; my last boyfriend was unbelievably hairy, and although it was something I used to dislike, I liked it on him cause it suited him.

As for myself, years of getting bullied in school for having hairy arms has resulted in me pretty much removing every single possible hair :jess:
