What makes a good member?
Someone who understands that this forum is unlike any other. The relaxed atmosphere this forum presents may seem foreign to people who are used to nothing but trolling and insults that are in most other places. Once someone gets that and learns to relax, I think they become a good member. It's okay to walk the line once in awhile, but at the end of the day don't be a jerk!

What makes a good CK?
It's kind of like being a manager or supervisor at any place of work, though less serious. You have to not let personal feelings get in the way of enforcing the rules, but that doesn't mean you have to be stern. This is a pretty close community and most people are smart/mature enough to realize that any moderation directed towards them isn't personal.

What would you like to change about Eyeson to make it better?
A MYSTIC QUEST FORUM! Just kidding. Maybe bring back the Eyes on the World forum? Yes, that forum had it's problems, but I feel there are many people like me who rather have a forum for personal stuff, and a forum where PG can get all his political nonsense out of his system. ;)

What color would you prefer your CK tag to be? (SPOILER)
Red, if that one isn't taken. Why? Because it is my favorite color. If I do win this thing, I am open to whatever colors.

If you were to be thrown into the thunderdome with one of the current staff, who would you go against and what would be your tactic?
Pike. I would bring a giant bag of moths, unleash them, and strike when she is screaming her lungs out and vomiting Mountain Dew out of fear.

What does FF(and EoFF) mean to you?
FF is a series that is deeply important to me because I basically grew up with it. A lot of my best memories come from the times where all I had to do was throw a FF cart/CD into my game console and escape into a world that usually held one hell of a tale.

EoFF is a place that I grew to appreciate over the years. When I was younger and took the internet far too seriously, I resented to what I perceived at the time of a place that was too strict. I never was a big trouble maker, but I have got in some dumbass arguments with some of the staff here, and I feel silly for it now.

So I went out and had my fun at other places with less restrictions. I still enjoy those places, and I like to see people act a fool on other forums, but at the same time I found myself back here because this place is where I should have been all along. This was and is the only online community where I feel interaction is as personable as hanging out with friends in real life. Guess I grew up a little. But JUST A LITTLE OKAY GUYS.

It's nice to hear a little bit about your journey 'cause you are quite the long time member and I think you had already departed these shores by the time I showed up.

I wholeheartedly agree with your Eyes on the World suggestion. It lets the arguments and rants about "important things" get dumped in there so they can fight it out while the people who just want to vent about their life or talk about personal things can post it somewhere else and hopefully with the distinction between the two we don't end up having Shlup blast down the door and rage at the people who are telling person-with-personal-trouble that they're doing it wrong. It would be nice to have them separate.

Thanks for the feedback, Jiro. I have no idea how the "judges" will take it, but I felt I did a good job with this round. Occasionally I get a good flow going when I write, and it happened to kick on when I was posting earlier.

You're one of my favorites going into this, but you lost points with your Eyes on the World suggestion. I hated that place! Unless your suggestion was to create the forum, lure all those types into it, and then cast it off into the Void.

Your threads are pretty rad though.

Thanks! For the record, I don't really care for Eyes on the World either, but I rather have members to have their own place to talk about those kinds of subjects. Sure, I follow on what's going on in the world, but even when people argue constructively like most of the posts here, it just annoys me. It's like, "No, [member] on the net. You're not going to change someone's view on religion by typing 8 paragraphs on a Final Fantasy forum."

That said, I believe in peoples right to express themselves. I just think that there should be a place for the personal serious topics and another for something more widespread. Maybe there can be an alternate solution that's similar?

Anyway, once again, always nice to hear positive feedback (mostly in this case)! Thanks again!
