Not much to say about whatever the product will be (though a Japanese tweet mentions PC and smart phones (https://twitter.com/1stPD_PR/statuses/237376828870897664)), but the interesting thing is the music. The site is set up to add more to the background music as each day passes. If you're feeling adventurous, you can fiddle around with your computer to find out how it changes up until 'Day 3'.

Guess we'll find out more in Famitsu the day before this countdown expires.

While I would want a console or perhaps another handheld iteration of The World Ends With You, I can entirely see its sequel being a smartphone video game. Being cool, mobile, and versatile is the atmosphere or quality that the game gave off. Besides, yelling into your phone? It sounds more sensible than doing it with a handheld system.

Sorry for the double post, but new information has arisen over the past day!

Rumour has it that the announcement will be an iOS port of the game, with new music and stuff. Pretty cool, I guess, but I dunno how well the game will play on an iPhone/iPad. The dual screen worked perfectly for what TWEWY wanted to do - trying to have it on a single screen will be interesting. Unless they don't do the dual screen thing... Who knows! We'll see when the countdown finishes either way.

The IOS port was indeed what it was most likely to be, and it is. It comes out tomorrow.
