Right, well, that was unexpected.

I enjoyed Round One. I like a lot of the new threads that occurred because of it. While I haven't necessarily played the games they're about, it's interesting to read a person's views and get some understanding of the game in the process. So yeah, kudos for that.

I'm actually somewhat nervous about this next round, though, now that I've been put in charge of something. If other member's success depends on my leadership skills, you people are evil bastards xD.

France is going well. I've been setting myself up with identification, banking etc. I'll be getting my social security number tomorrow, which'll allow me access to all the benefits of a resident (healthcare, financial support, guiltlessly excessive consumption of wine in public places etc.). I'm going to a meet up of other intenationals tomorrow evening for a midweek pint. Yey! J'aime Paris. The public transport here is pretty good, and very like London's system, though not as good. Probably more efficient, though, which makes up for it. I'll be getting a NaviGo card soon, which is essentially an Oystercard for Paris.

OysterCard? Are you fucking with me? That's the most random thing ever. We call ours GoCards which is simple enough. Fucking oysters gosh you are a posh lot up there.

I'm scared of them giving you responsibility but I know you'll do well. Don't worry about being a bad leader, just hope that the team you assemble can carry you along like a glorified idol.

I was planning on Jiroing the forum to the best of my ability, given this new position, so I've requested people who I think are just in this Tournament for the fun of it. Or maybe I'm lying about that, and actually I've created a crack team of specialists and am prepared to commit all sorts of necessary evils to gain power?

Dun dun dun!

Also, I think they're called OysterCards because they flap open and closed like an oyster. I may have just made that up.

Haha, the Londoners have OysterCard, the Parisians have NaviGo. :D

Awww and here I thought you had a card that let you order free oysters at any place (

Nobody would use that card. Oysters are sin.

I dunno, the french are weird. They might like em.

They are weird, it's true. I have to wear Speedos to swim in a public pool. MY BALLS. :(

Why am I suddenly the madman?

You have potential here, son. Don't throw it away for the chance to make an explosion!

You're Australian. Of course you're mad! Met a girl from Melbourne today. Nice lass.

I'm flummoxed by the idea that I have potential. I'm still not even sure why you people picked me to lead a team, other than to add some drama and a personal challenge. xD

It's hella fun, though.

You were picked because Freya has the hots for your face. As do we all. It's mesmerising. Anyway, Melbourne girls are usually pretty nice. I don't know about generalisations or nothing but that's my experience.
