And I need to go to bed.

Should I move the cat?

What do you do in this sort of situation? :cat:

I would cuddle with my kitty! He loves sleeping on my back.

Go to bed, go directly to bed and do not collect catnip.

She jumps off when I go to bed and sleeps under it :|

I have had this problem many times. Sometimes I just close the door and go to sleep, careful not to kick the cat or anything. Well, that lasts for about an hour or two, and then he decides he's had enough and wants out of the room, so he wakes me up by scratching on the door. There's also the option of leaving the door open when you go to sleep so that he can leave when he wants, but if I do that then my dog will bust through the door in the morning and wake me up.

So usually I either move him out of the room, or I hang around for a while and hope he wakes up on his own and decides to leave before I go to sleep.

My cat isn't allowed in the bed.

She just opts to sleep in the bathroom sink every night and I can't stop it.

If one of the cats takes my spot on the bed, Sarah and I cuddle on her side. If a cat takes her side of the bed, we sleep together on the couch. If she's already asleep and there's a cat on my side, I try to sleep around it, but if I can't fit on the bed without disturbing the cat I'll just stay up or sleep on the couch.

"Allowed?" What?

I throw her the smurf out. Every time the cat is on the bed she starts to go apetit and attack my comforter, pillows, and my face.

The cat does not belong in my spot. Get out of my spot.

I don't have a cat of my own (yet), but at my mom's I am forced to keep my door closed at night because otherwise I would be woken up in the middle of the night to the sight of a cat face mere inches away from mine, with my mom's fat cat lying on my chest. I have enough difficulty with sleep as it is.

Your cats have trained you well.

What you need to do is accept that Kitty isn't your pet. You are the Kitties owner. As such you must switch places with kitty and I've officially forgotten where I was going with this, but I'm pretty sure it was really funny.

Fight fire with fire; take a dump in its litter tray.

Or on its food. Make sure it knows its place.

Just buy a new house girl, it laid kittens in the walls.

I would lay on the cat.

This is probably why BJ won't let me have one.

I have the problem of waking up to find the neighbours cat has claimed my sofa in my bedroom as his bed for the night. It knows it's not allowed in our house because I don't want it thinking this is home too! I talked to it first thing this morning and was like "come on you stupid, get out" it simply lay there looking at me like "but I'm all cuddly come make a fuss" I lost :3

I will cuddle it till it runs back to its own cage and lock himself in it.

I would pet my cat for a bit and then gently move her. My cat would leap right back up in a couple of mins to lay next to me anyway.

I'd flip the mattress over.

my cat is always out partying at night, she sleeps all day and she's a miserable bitch and doesn't come near any of us unless she wants tuna :colbert:

You think that might be why he won't let you have a baby either?

I would put it in the bin.

Nah I just kick my cat off the bed when she jumps up because I move around a lot when I sleep so I might end up rolling over and squish her to death... Also the fact that I'm alergic to her ^^;
