That title kind of got away from me. So there are questions. And apparently they need to be answered. And honestly no less.

Bugger...

1) Loony BoB has told Psychotic to "shut the fuck up". We don't allow swearing! We also don't allow people to order other people around in such a manner. Loony BoB has been a bad boy. He needs to be punished. What do you do?
Is drunk tanking him an option? Am I able to drunk tank an admin? Am I supposed to assume he's not an admin and merely representing the faceless masses of the forum? Whatever, I'll go with drunk tanking him to let him cool off.

2) Pike and I'm My Own MILF were caught having sex in front of the children at her kindergarten. That's disgusting! What do you do?
That is kind of fucked up, no lie. I think I'm kind of obligated to report them to the police for that one. Maybe kick MILF in the balls on his way downtown.

2a) Now the kids are asking what they were doing. What do you tell them?
Unfortunately for those children I don't believe in lying to kids about sex. Congratulations MILF and Pike, now you've created a kindergarten class filled with future pedophiles and sex offenders. :mad2:

3) Wolf Kanno is drunk. Again. He's also posting pornographic pictures of Pike and I'm My Own MILF having sex in front of children into a thread in EoFF. What do you do?
Pretty sure that's a bannable offense. He's out on his ass for a while for that one. What's the standard punishment? A year sound good? No, there are more innocent children involved so I think this one's going to be permanent.

4) Shiny is replying to threads with nothing more than the statement "fire_of_avalon, I forgive you for what you have done. I'm sorry for what I have also done. Let's make up. Will you marry me?" This has nothing to do with the topic of the threads, and she will not stop. What do you do?
She'd be getting a warning for sure. If she kept it up I'd drunk tank her so I can get some sleep instead of having to babysit her on the forum. Maybe she'd sober up in the meantime.

5) Del Murder has set Eyes on Final Fantasy on fire. It's already reached The Lounge, and the smoke is making it hard for Raistlin and Vivi22 to breathe. What do you do?
Sounds like I'm choking to death.

But if that answer isn't sufficient, I'd grab the nearest fire extinguisher, murder Del with it, call the fire department, use the fire extinguisher to try and hold off the flames and save whatever I could before it is all destroyed.

Of course I would fail and end up choking to death, but at least I took care of the culprit so you can rebuild without fear of him burning it all down again.

6) krissy has started a thread demanding that all of Staff step down because "they're a bunch of titty pussy wanking homotwats that couldn't tell a mothersmurfer from a toilet seat if it hit them on the head." What do you do?
Tell her to shut the fuck up and drunk tank her in that order. If she continues after her return feel free to refer to my handling of Del above.

7) Rantzien has been constantly entering porn links into the #eoff chatroom. What do you do?
Ban his ass. Never liked him anyway...

8) Hypoallergenic Cactuar is humping your leg. What do you do?
If he's on there then it's already too late. Time to cut off the leg before he gets to the other one.

Time to put on my protective greaves with anti-HC spikes. I'll also sit on my throne of skulls in the center of a lake of fire on an island covered in razor blades and running chainsaws. These won't actually stop him, they're just there for me to commit a brutal suicide if he gets past the greaves.

10) You're unsure of what to do. What do you do?
Impossible, I always know what to do. But in the unlikely event that I suffer a stroke and don't know what to do because my brain literally stops working properly I guess I'd ask the staff.

1. Final Fantasy. How is your enthusiasm going lately? I know you have done the survey which shows that you at least have a general interest, and we all know that you post in pretty much all the Final Fantasy forums. In the past six or so months, I've been really keen on getting more staff on board that are genuinely interested in Final Fantasy. How do you see your interest for FF going in the future? What about other releveant games to EoFF, such as KH or... whatever? :p

2. Trolls. What's your opinion on the best way to deal with them? I'm talking seriously. You know, the kind of guys that spend all their time in a single FF forum slagging that game off, or people who walk the line almost perfectly between being a dick and being right. What is your opnion of the best way to deal with such borderline cases?

3. Idiots. What's your opinion on the best way to deal with them? Again, seriously - we all know there are sometimes outright idiots on the internet. But how do you tolerate them? Do you think you have what it takes to explain something ten times over in a step-by-step basis to ensure they can finally figure out that double posting is a no-no and that they should just edit their last post?

It comes and goes. I still love a lot of the older games and enjoy talking about them occasionally. Even when I'm not posting in the FF forums I'm often looking at them to see what sort of discussions are taking place. It can honestly be hard to jump in and talk about them sometimes for the same reason I sometimes steer clear of threads about what drumheads or bass drum pedal to buy on the drum forums I visit. I believe 2012 is 20 years since I first played an FF title. I've been around the block with these more than a few times and have discussed many of the titles to death. It doesn't mean I'm not still interested in them or don't enjoy discussing them, it's just a bit harder for me to maintain WK levels of enthusiasm and interest. Then again, who can keep up with that guy really? But really my tastes have shifted quite a bit over the years. When I was a kid I played games almost exclusively for the story and characters. These days, I'm more into competitive games and my interest in games often lies with the mechanics themselves and dissecting things from that angle. So even the newer FF's are still of great interest to me in that regard since they always switch up mechanics from game to game. In fact, to some degree my hatred of FFXIII made it more interesting to me because I spent much of the 20+ hours that I played of it picking it apart and figuring out why I thought it was so bad.

As for other Square related stuff, I've been less interested in their Japanese titles. Kingdom Hearts 2 was a confusing mess to me and I haven't played one since. But, I'm far more interested in the stuff they're publishing from western developers. There seems to have been a weird shift from their Japanese studios making the best stuff to their western studios suddenly being freaking awesome. Just Cause 2 for example is either Nirvana or the best sandbox game I've ever played. I can't be 100% sure until I look into what the Buddha had to say about it. And Deus Ex: human Revolution was far better than a sequel to one of the greatest games ever had any business being. There's actually some interesting stuff coming from them on this side of the Pacific.

Hard to say when I almost feel like you just described me to some extent. :shifty:

But honestly, if they're just trolling, I find it best not to bite at first. Ignore them and their silly bullshit and they'll often go away, or at least they won't be impacting the conversation. So long as they aren't just deliberately trying to start shit with other members and aren't breaking any rules I can be pretty tolerant. If they're trolling just to bait people into going after them though and doing it frequently, then I'd definitely be doing something about it. It's specifically against the rules and I hate it besides. I wouldn't jump to extremes of immediately banning someone mind you. I'd give them fair warning to back off and either shape up or ship out. If they still kept it up I'd want to see them sent packing with a one way ticket.

Did you see the whole debacle with Sum1sGruj? I wouldn't say I have a whole lot of patience for it, but I can do it without letting my rage spew forth onto my keyboard. I think that years of bashing my head against brick walls has somewhat numbed me to it by now anyway. And really, there's a big difference between someone who just doesn't understand forum rules and someone who's idiocy leads them to hold downright offensive beliefs and say hateful things. The former I'd almost find funny. The latter less so.

If it helps, I spent six months working in a call center handling customer service calls for a major cell phone company and not only did I not get fired, my performance was among the best in the place despite hating my job and suffering from crippling depression. So if it's a question of can I handle myself appropriately with idiots on a forum, let's just say that I have a decent amount of experience (decent being somewhere between 7,500-10,000 phone calls worth by my rough estimate).

You've mentioned in passing numerous times that you found it surprising that you are always considered for the MLT Become a Cid's Knight Ciddie or mentioned as a potential Cid's Knight elsewhere. Why did you feel this way? Do you still feel this way?

Honestly, I was never quite as surprised as I pretended to be, or at least, not for the reasons I pretended to be. I think the first time the notion came up I was a bit surprised because I didn't think I was nearly as prominent in the forums as some other members. I also just never really aspired to be a CK before either so the suggestion that I would make a good one seemed to come out of left field so to speak as I didn't realize other people felt that way.

Do I feel that way now though? Not really actually. If this contest has made me realize anything it's that I'm pretty active in the forums, I not only joined the census committee and took the lead there on occasion, but have also tried to take run my own events in the past (and learned a great deal about what is and isn't going to work there). I'm pretty active in the blogs (when I'm not spending all my time busting my ass in a CK competition), and I care more about FF than I thought I still did. But perhaps more importantly, I care a hell of a lot about this site.

Thanks a lot guys. Because of your little competition here I not only understand why people keep thinking I'd make a good CK, I actually think I want it now.

The serious answer would be that my answers probably wouldn't really change regardless of who's name was put where. I'll gladly treat the common whelps the same as the more uncommon ones.

The slightly less serious answer would be that my answers wouldn't really change regardless of who's name was put where with the one exception being that if you were the one humping my leg I'd probably let you finish so long as you agree to clean up the mess afterwards.
