Would a EoFF TV Tropes be cool? What tropes would you have? Should we start a page?

Not sure how well a forum would translate to such a site. Has it been done before?

Hmm...I don't think that would work too well. Like Sephex said, this is a forum, not a game or TV show.
Nonsense, it's just a very abstract reality TV show.

Are we not merely a collection of characters and subplots?

But do we know enough about each other to properly assess what trope each of us falls under?

Discussion forums are way too esoteric even for TV Tropes, and that's saying something.

How often do we get to use the word "esoteric" on EoFF?

You took a sniper shot to the head in your own post before you could complete your insult of Shorty. So, it's a type of self-sacrifice.
I suppose it is. I wasn't arguing the point, I merely found it interesting!

I'll just have a quick look on TV Tropes to see what kinds of tropes we could assign...

Big Eater: Iceglow
The irony here is in real life I actually eat ridiculously small portions for a fully grown man. Still reading the article on tv tropes I can see a couple of ideas where you'd be heading with this.
Tv Tropes is the crack of the Internet. Of course I condone this.
Honestly, I've never understood the appeal of TV Tropes and why people find it so fascinating.
I feel like I learn so much. And it neverendingly links to itself! And external links! Ooh baby! *drools*

I sometimes feel like half the reason I've gotten so much into Doctor Who is how extensive TV Tropes' coverage of it is. Of course, there are a huge number of reasons other than that, so it isn't half the reason, but TV Tropes definitely helped.

Indeed.
Tv Tropes is the crack of the Internet. Of course I condone this.
Agreed. My first experience with tropes was when I was beginning my chronicles (which began as a fanfiction of KH)... I was trying avoid using well-known cliches or archetypes in my fiction (I didn't even know what a trope was) and stumbled upon TVT&I (by the way, I've never found an idiom on the site). I quickly learned that there is no avoiding cliches or archetypes, everything's been done, what's been done has often been done again, done to death, revived for mild amusement and/or nostalgia and killed again, and then done once more years off the mark just to check if anybody remembers it. So I decided if I couldn't beat'em, I'd join'em, and while I was at it, I pretty much determined to merge with the entirety of the site until I was essentially a sickly if silly god of all tropes. Ridiculousness empower me!
Death Seeker: D something Poet (I forget his name)
Dignified Pauper! That's his freakin' name!
I am not in Mercen-X's list and now I am sad.
As for TVTropes, every great writer I personally know pretty much has the site memorized. Which makes me feel bad because I have never spent much time there. xD

I had to look that up and it is like the opposite of me. Maybe I need to work on my presentation skills...

It was a sarcastic attack based on your last post here. Truthfully, I don't know much about you except that people know you you

Oh okay, that makes sense.
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT TV TROPES; I GET CONFUSED
