Everytime i read the word sliders i hear it in that whispered voice at the end of the opening theme.
It was great until they lost Professor Arturo, then it was ok for a while, and then it started plummeting downhill.
I saw Jon Rhys Davis at a convention where he said he hated the show and it's writing.
I remember once there were three episodes in a row with universes where people had magic powers and in each one the professor was all "Thats impossible, magic isnt real" even though hes seen magic like 10 mintues ago.
The later seasons where half the episodes were military action type episodes about cromags or whatever bored the trout out of me and as horrible as the show was, i really wish they coudlve given us some closure, maybe a movie or something to finish the series.

I don't have Netflix so not really.
But Sliders was a cool premise that started off well, then quickly spiraled into such an unadulterated steaming pile of shit that it actually boggles the mind.
I'd still recommend it though.

it was pretty great at the beginning
remember that world where it was only women? and they all arrested the guys and made them have sex with the women in a facility?
Ahaha, I recently rewatched Sliders! That tit is golden. GOLDEN AND DEEP.

When I got Netflix the first thing I did was watch the entire Jem series. Life was fantastic.

I watched Sliders as a little kid. It was good for a while, but it very quickly lost its way and became unwatchable. Kinda like Star Trek Voyager...WHOOPS-DID-I-JUST-SAY-THAT-OUT-LOUD.

That's a lie.
(Voyager was always unwatchable.)

Yup. It's what happens when you abandon everything cool about your concept within the first few episodes.

My ex sent an urgent communique via Fb that she's currently addicted to the net due to flix. This is why I choose Redbox and I told her as much before I wished her well and said goodbye... well, "good night." It was late and I was tired.
I really wanted this thread to be about those mini hamburger appetizers. :(

The first two seasons of Sliders are great. I rewatched them a couple years ago and they were corny but still amusing. Rembrandt is my favorite character. 'Oakland Raiders' still makes me laugh.
The show jumped the shark with the two Arturos episode. Never really was into it after Atruro died.

I got about four episodes into season five...I'm done.
Fuck this show. Quantum Leap!
