Supernatural was good while Kripke was running it, so that's a good reason for me to watch it. JJ Abrams involvement means it'll be good for at least one season, maybe two.

The only thing holding it back is how slow and silly it could get with the individual relations. Also the antagonist seems like he's going to have a stupid reason for doing what he's doing.

I always dig 'breakdown of society' what-ifs, even if they're hamhanded or don't involve zombies.

I think in ep2 they were (trying) to make you feel like the cap'n isn't so bad (?)

It's way worse than I thought it would be. Like, cringeworthy bad. The kind of show you should catch while browsing SyFy on a Saturday afternoon, not as a major primetime network show.

It might get a season or two just based on Abram's attachment, but my god, they should cancel this shit immediately.
