Just went to type out "totally squeeing" and my phone said nope and changed it to "totally aqualung."

Let's hear your auto-correct stories.

Aqualung is a good song.

Why were you typing "squeeing" anyway? Is that even a verb?

Also, I don't have auto-correct problems because my phone is awesome and lets me turn auto-correct off if I don't want it. And I don't want it.

I can't remember what I typed, but I was texting someone to basically say we would be there soon, and autocorrect somehow morphed the sentence into implying that we would be there... after a threesome.

One time I got really drunk and tried to text Sharky something about having a good night.

What I ended up saying was something about "sex hood aliens."

When I say "do" I do not mean "so" iPhone :mad2::mad2::mad2: Every. single. time.

It gets weirder sometimes but no examples at this moment.

Me: "Think I lost my penis last night"

Friend: "Stuck in your own vagina?"

Me: "I meant PEN!! What in the world!"

"dead" instead of "dear" once

my biggest problem are my fat thumbs that occasionally put a "z" at the end instead of a period.

I believe I've already shared this here, but the worst one I've ever had was "I hurt my knee today" being corrected into "I hit my nigger today". It was terrible. I don't even use the N word, I have no idea why it thought I was going there! :(

My most recent one was "I will jump in the lake with you" corrected to "I will hump in the lake with you", texted to a girl who I knew liked me but I wasn't really that into. Her response was full of eagerness and I didn't notice the auto-correct mishap until much much later. :x

I'm too amazing to make mistakes, but Sarah once told me she wanted to feed the f**ks with me. This was on a regular keyboard. Barely on topic. Still funny.

I'm lucky in that the default on my Galaxy S2 is for the dictionary and thus autocorrect to be switched off which means I can type faster and more efficiently. On my htc I had auto correct on and it bugged the shit out of me. I had some messages I'd send out so garbled it'd take 2 or 3 attempts to then correct it.

I dunno about any bad ones but my phone autocorrects getting to Gettying sometimes and I don't even fucking know what that means.

It's when you give a very boring yet prolific speech.

This is a thread about auto-correct for phones, babe. :colbert: and I'm pretty sure that was on my blackberry!

\"I hit my nigger today"/

You would think phones would be programmed to correct from that word rather than to it.

I am hijacking this thread and making it about Jethro Tull.

One of the first things I did when I got my phone was turn off auto-correct. Leaving that thing on is just asking for trouble.

It can be a right hassle trying to wrestle welsh words through autocorrect.

Words like llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch?
