do you guys drink your milk out of bags or cartons? i told sarah about bagged milk today and she didn't believe me. bagged milk seems strange to me as well, but hey! power to you.

Sorry, all cartons here.

I think bagged milk is a rural thing, I saw them in the late 80s in rural Nova Scotia, never in a real city or out West.

we just had little cartons we had to pay a quarter for

and then thirty-five cents eventually.

Both....But bags are cheaper cause you're buying more and they're probably cheaper to make. Bags aren't rural, they're regional, as 'out west' like alberta etc don't have them.

Jugs are gross cause they accumulate that crusty milk around the cap...And that's what our US cousins always had when we visited.

The only time I've seen bags of milk was when I worked at McDonald's.


And yeah, it was still weird even then.

We have soda bags here, and I don't think that's weird at all! They pour the soda into small plastic bags, and then give you a straw. :confused:

I remember they used to give us little pouches of milk back in elementary school. It made it easier to throw milk at people.

We had milk-in-a-bag during middle and high school but I haven't seen them since. I think it's better in bag form based only upon the fact that you can bite a tiny hole in a tip and squirt people. :bigsmile:

I used to buy bagged milk. Now I live in America and there are NO MILK BAGS. It's also a lot harder to find boxes of ice cream. And poutine. Man I miss poutine :(.
