Meet Tseng, the youngest Turk ever. According to Aeris, those flashback scenes where Aeris was a little girl and Tseng came to "rescue her" were a little bit off (much like the rest of the fucking flashback scenes in the game. It's as if they set out to create an entirely wrong product). Tseng wasn't this tall thin asian dude, he was actually a kid being escorted by two Shinra guards in order to persuade Aeris to come back to Shinra.

One Cathy Okada translated a good deal of the game prior to the N.A. localization. It succeeds in a lot of areas where the official translation struggles.
