What are you going as for Halloween? I was going as a cute ladybug originally, but my costume looked crappy and it was ripped, so I'm going as Alice last minute! Most any pictures, accessories, handmade costumes in progress, etc. I'll post mine another time! :jess:

I was going to be Sherlock but was unable to find an appropriate coat. I will be the eleventh Doctor instead, complete with sonic screwdriver.

I was going to show up for work dressed as a Starfleet science officer, but I couldn't acquire a costume in time. Luckily I'm blessed with a bountiful dinnaegiveasmurfosity, so I'll just do that later for no reason

EDIT: Dunno if filters just don't show up on forum runner or if they're bypassed entirely, so I'll play it safe...

I was originally planning on going as a Chinese hopping vampire but I kindof... stopped caring and outright forgot to get the costume prepared.

Reusing old costumes because of last minute Halloween party plans are great. Breaking out the ol' camo shorts and guns and getting my Lara Croft on. :3

This is the first time I'm "dressing up" for halloween, and so I decided to play it somewhat safe and modern and come as...

http://pulsecsi.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/crime-SOCO-suit.jpg

Naturally, there will be blood to smear over the suit. I hope it pays off, I'm not so good at the whole dressing gig.

My best Halloween costume was Henry VIII (in his rather more athletic youth!), which required the wearing of tights. I can only assume my cycling was paying off as I received rather more compliments on my legs than usual...

Alas this year I have no plans for the 31st and will be dressed simply as a grown-up going to work in a proper job. Which in a way is the scariest costume of all!

was thinking of going as http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20070808210546/simpsons/images/3/39/Hank_Scorpio.png but my beard isn't manly enough. so i'm probably just going with no costume, because i am lazy and uncreative

Agent Proto

My slenderman idea has probably gone down the drain. Either because Halloween is gonna be a wet evening, with Sandy pouring her wetness on me and everyone else around, and I can't find the proper morph mask anywhere and if I get it online, I wouldn't get it by Halloween. :( I'll probably find another way or do something else.

Ouch!

I am going as a Ghostbuster. Sounds really generic, but it's off the beaten path for me. I usually do darker stuff for Halloween. Plus, I actually never dressed up as one before despite the fact that I was really into the movies and especially cartoon as a kid. It was destiny!

I wish I was going to a Halloween party this year. Most are tonight and I'm at work til 8pm and in work tomorrow (definitely not enough time to recover from full on party night) on the actual Halloween I'm working til 10pm so that's out the window too. I'm basically going to be screwed out of going and doing something fun this year for Halloween maybe I can arrange something for a firework display or shit on the 5th of November but otherwise I will largely be making up for this with the work party on the 7th December.

I decided that while OK without the wig, the costume was just not doing it without some cool tights. The tights made all of the difference, and the matching pocket watch necklace nail polish didn't hurt one bit! All in all, a really fun costume. I have two other occasions this coming week to wear it to, so it was worth the investment. :jess:

That is amazing!

I'm unwillingly getting dragged into it this year by my colleagues. My current plan (money and time permitting) is this (http://img.auctiva.com/imgdata/6/7/3/5/0/1/webimg/617527882_o.jpg) with a bit of this (the Make-up, fishnets and other chequred stuff) (http://images.wikia.com/borderlands/images/2/20/Borderlands_2010-02-25_18-25-26-79.png) with the token oversized card in the top-hat too.

Although I've also fallen in love with this (http://imgur.com/VOjKP) too.

But if I don't have the time to throw it all together (or heck if it ends up being too expensive) I'll just make use of this summers attire that's been sitting in my wardrobe since September and go as this (http://www.dkhlegacytrust.org/uploads/Games%20Maker.jpg)! xD

If I do bother to go trick-o-treating with my sister I will be going as a Hungry Hungry Hippo. I made modifications to my costume so now the belly is round and doesn't look like a line-backer.

Kinda bummed I can't make it in to work today because everyone was gonna dress up. Would've been fun. :/ (That and I'm losing money in the process.)

My friends and I are doing this thing called trick or treat so someone else can eat. We're asking for canned food donations rather than candy. I thought it would be cool to do this:

It's super last minute though, so I might have to resort to the ol' Boba helmet again this year.

Somebody on our street went as SCP-173 (http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-173). I recognized it immediately and told Sarah, but then I had to spend five minutes explaining to her what the SCP Foundation is :(

Also, whoever was in that costume didn't stop by any houses. They just stood there in the middle of the street and every now and again would run up behind some little kids while they weren't paying attention. It was hilarious.
