Do you like to take things apart to see how they work or alter them?
Whats the last thing you took apart that you didnt assemble yourself?

Harmonica here, it was ridiculously dirty inside.

If I break something, or it doesn't work, I will take it apart.

I once got at TV for free that didn't have sound when I first got it. It was a very weird tube TV that had the black and red female ports for speakers. I didn't have speakers and since nothing was plugged into those ports I couldn't figure out why there was no sound, so I opened it. I had no effing clue what the hell I was doing, so after an hour and a half of my roommate and I fumbling around trying to put it back together we noticed a very tiny black switch that was for switching between AUX and whatever you would consider speakers inside the TV.

I use to take my laptops apart on a regular basis, just to put it back together. The last time I did this was probably last year when I got an SD card stuck in my laptop. I thought that maybe I could take everything apart and then open the slot the card was in and all would be well. Turns out life isn't that difficult, because once I had the mother board out I noticed I could probably stick some duct tape in there and pull it out that way. The second plan worked and now I had realized I had taken my laptop apart for no reason. I lost a screw inside of it while I was putting back together and it landed on my speaker's magnet and I am too lazy to open it back up to get it, so for the last umpteen months my speakers sound like shit.

Also, I've disassembled my car's driver side door panel to replace the handle I broke, that went better than expected.

a dualshock 3 controller, cause there was something rattling inside it and it was driving me crazy.

Protip: The trigger buttons are extremely hard to put in the right position when you reassemble it. It took me almost an hour!

Yep. Usually watches and clocks. Or mechanical kitchen timers. My mom would joke that she had to hide any timepiece from me.

Currently my job is do to that, so I do it more than I'd like. Most recent non-job-related thing I can think of was my laptop to put in an SSD. For whatever reason, Dell thought it was a good idea not to include an HDD bay like every other laptop has. :|

couple of 1/16 scale toy ferraris. That's the last I REMEMBER disassembling though this is something I would tend to do a lot particular with things I feel aren't working properly and wonder if I could fix.

I always find myself absent-mindedly disassembling and reassembling pens.

I used to take apart nearly everything to see how it works and then put it back together. Computers, cars, clocks, vacuums, electric tools, DVD players, doorbells, telephones, remote controls, stereos, toasters, microwaves, ceiling fans, gaming consoles and controllers, instruments, etc.; I don't do it too much anymore though since I pretty much have an idea of how most things work now. Usually if I see something that I want to take apart these days I can't because it's not mine to mess with :p

I used to love taking things apart when I was younger. The last thing I took apart just because was an older guitar with active pickups. I was checking out the wiring and trying to see how hard it would be to add active pickups to another guitar.

I've found that I tend to do this with shit quality pens as the second they are disassembled I am covered in ink and the fucker never goes back together right

I want to love anything as much as Björk loves this TV.
