How do you prefer to have the temperature in your room/apartment/house?
I would rather have a chilly room sitting at around 65F (18C I think) rather than anything above 72F.

Basically the way I see it is that it is easier to get warm when you're cold than it is to get cool when you're hot.

You can only take so many clothes off.

Cold. Definitely cold. When you're hot, you can only take off so many clothes, and I'm really prudish and uncomfortable with that idea, so I crave winter where I can just grab as many coats as I can and dress up. There's hardly any need for the heating when I can put clothes or a blanket on.

It's not about the temperature for me, I just like treasure hunts. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agaH80PYEpY)

Yeah, I prefer cold too. Nothing like sleeping with a gentle breeze sweeping through. Ooh! Better than sex.

Cold! Being in a tropical country with ungodly bouts of soaring temperatures and humidity makes cold weathers a welcome treat (as long as they're not due to storms).

Cold. I think being born in a seaside town and getting a lot of rain and wind and cold gave me naturally thicker skin or something because as soon as it goes above room temperature I'm roasting.

Plus winter clothes are just generally all around better than summer - and if you get cold (especially in the workplace) you can just put clothes on. Plus there's the whole waking up warm and toasty in bed during the middle of the winter which is AMAZING - well until it comes to getting out of bed, that part sucks.

indoor temp, i prefer to be between 65 F and 70 F. The most miserable winter ever was last winter when our heater died and we couldn't get it fixed till a few days later. it got down so cold that we could see our breath :(

If I had to pick one or the other then definitely cold. Like Cim said: you can only take off so many clothes.

Let's just say I live in the right country.

Definitely would prefer cold, even though that hardly ever happens here. I still have my ceiling fan on.

The worst part about my house is that I really like the cold, but I am the only one. So when their hot, my opinion is effectively vetoed out. :(

I prefer colder temperatures, but I don't like it if I am freezing. In the summer I usually have the AC blasting like a Blastoise.

Anything higher than 70 degrees is unpleasant. 65 feels just about perfect.

I tend to keep things a bit chillier, so I can snuggle up in sweaters!

Cold for the same reasons most people said. Cuddle up in a blanket. I also have a heat sensitivity and when exposed to too much heat for too long I get stomach cramps and headaches and eventually I will pass out. It's good to live in the south now.
