So I am currently living in the land of magical toilets. I amazed how far toilet technology has advanced! Most toilets here have heated seats~ They also can come with two flushing options; one for a #1 and another for a #2.

Another awesome thing I like about them is that some of them have a sink where the tank would be of a typical American toilet. You wash your hands in that sink after you flush. The water you used to wash your hands drains into the toilet bowl, and then when you flush next it goes down the drain. So efficient!

And some of the toilets have built in bidet-like apparati. My butt has never felt so fresh

Have you ever been amazed by a high-tech toilet?
What has been your most pleasant toilet experience??
If you could design a dream toilet, what would it do/have?

The toilets at our airport scares me. They lit up with some sort of ultraviolet light the minute you step into the vicinity. Presumably to keep the toilet 100% clean. It's like you've stepped into the Mother Ship.

My toilet is sufficiently advanced enough to handle waste removal of an average amount, and then make refilling sounds for two hours.

I found that the US was suitably more advanced than Australia in toilet technology. Most things were automatic in one sense or another so that it limited the amount of germs going on.

I'd like a toilet that automatically makes everything smell like bacon.

Never amazed but irritated. Those automatic toilets in greyhound terminals flush at any slight movement you make. It must have flushed 5 times before I even peed :(

So long as it flushes, doesn't clog, doesn't start a conversation with me, and isn't easy to fall in to there is nothing innovative that needs to be done to a toilet... I really shouldn't make jokes about falling in the toilet with 60+ age groups but I made 3 of them last night :aimangel:

I've always wondered why some women complain about automatic toilets. Is there something I'm missing? I'm just a stupid man after all...

I hate it when I lean forward a bit and they flush when I'm still pooping.

I love high-tech toilets. I also quite enjoy squat toilets.

I'm easy to please.

No one likes leaving the bathroom with something wet other than their hands. :colbert:

When I lived in Germany from 1997-2000 they had toilets that cleaned the seat automatically after you flushed it. That was pretty mind blowing at the time.

I agree with this. When travelling the US, even the worst toilet I used was usually more advanced than the average British toilet. It was marvelous.

Yes, British toilets cannot please a refined patrician such as myself.
