This is seriously the best movie ever. Jack Nicholson as president. Nuff said.

EDIT: I didn't even know Burton directed this, but then again I didn't know he directed Pee Wee's Big Adventure either and that's also the best movie ever.

Exactly. It's amazing because it's so bad. You should know by now I have an affinity for crappy movies. Great source of humor, but I genuinely think this movie isn't horrible it's just not great. Jack Nicholson more than makes up for that.

The movie was clearly intended to be so bad it's good material.

It's like a all-star version of Killer Klowns From Outer Space. Everyone involved went in with the intention of making a good spoof and by god they did it.

You might as well say The Fifth Element isn't the best.
