...is tasty but then the pieces of kernel get stuck in your teeth. So it almost makes it not worth it.

What are your thoughts on this most hallowed of snacks?

Yeah, fuck kernels. They're the reason I won't eat popcorn more often.

I could take it or leave it. I prefer caramel and cheddar popcorn to regular.

Chinchillas appear to love popcorn, though! As long as it's plain and has the kernel taken out.

That summed it up.

I also like caramel corn, and kettle corn. Regular popcorn is okay, but nothing amazing.

I could take or leave basically any of it.

Not that fussed about it anymore.

In cinemas in Ireland they only really sell one variety of popcorn the taste and feel of which can pretty much be equated to eating wet polystyrene.

(they also don't really sell much of it outside of cinemas either so it's fairly hard to come by)

I eat the leftover kernels :greenie:

*sigh* at the theater closest here we have to pay for flavourings.

This! A large drink and medium popcorn still doesn't fix this problem.

Kettlecorn is pretty alright in my book, and the kind at movie theaters a little less so, but this kind has always been my favorite:

I never got the complaints about getting popcorn stuck in your teeth, then last time I went to the dentist she commented on how close together me teeth are. So 'go me' I guess.

I love popcorn! My brother-in-law got me an air popper and I use it all the time. Disneyland also has the best specialty popcorn--I love pickle, but I think sweet and spicy is my favorite.

Overrated. Though if it is buttery enough, I can tolerate it.

I love toffee or sweet popcorn!

And I don't so much mind the kernel bits getting stuck in my teeth as I do when they stick to the bottom of my tongue, or on my throat. Gaaaah!

I'd quite like popcorn now....

I love all popcorn. Whenever I walk past the cinema, I get the whiff of popcorn and I crave it so bad. xD

Caramel corn is cool, normal popcorn can die.

We used to do all sorts of flavoured popcorn at school back when food was meant to be delicious and not just healthy. Those were the days.

Absolutely revolting, I hate the stuff, and I have to sell it. I once had to fix the popcorn display (its basically how high and sturdy you can pile the popcorn up) and a bag was opened and i touched it and my hands smelled

Oldbies might remember the time edczxcvbnm and I made a song called "Popcorn" for our band called the Polo Ponys. edczxcvbnm has the voice of an angel and I make all guitarists look like babies.

I freaking love popcorn. Cheese and regular popcorn are my favorites.
Whenever I watch a movie, popcorn is a frickin' must.

Popcorn is pretty good. I can't have the salted kind though. I generally stick to the sweet kind.

When I was a kid I stuck a popcorn kernel up my nose.

if you don't already pop your own corn you should start.

its easy as balls and tastes 100x better and also you can basically throw anything on it and it will be delicious and you can make like 10x as much popcorn as buying a bag of prepopped stuff for the same price

My only experience with homemade popcorn, is the microwave kind. It is horrendous.

I love movie theater popcorn, some microwave popcorns, stale popcorn, kettle corn, caramel corn, toffee popcorn, and now I want to try this pickle popcorn.

Salted popcorn is an abomination.

Sweet/toffee popcorn is pretty nice, though I rarely buy it because there's a limit to how much I like getting fleeced at the cinema.

Back when I was a kid my mom used to sprinkle jell-o powder on popcorn. I know it sounds insane but it was really good.

Have them leave the ice out of your drink.

You're welcome.

Popcorn is the worst.
HOW ARE WE EVEN FRIENDS?

I had to watch a movie at the theater once without popcorn.

I'd like to tell you I spared that theater. But I can't lie to my friends. :(

What in the hell would even make you think to do this?

foa has it right: popcorn is a requirement for the movie theater and is glorious.

Oh man popcorn is The One. Salted of course, none of that sweet or toffee crap. Also British popcorn is better than US popcorn, it's a fact.

Blockbuster sell really good popcorn, the stuff in the bag is really nice but if I get the microwave stuff I then melt some butter in a pan and drizzle over when it comes out of the microwave. It's glorious.

Also I have to have popcorn in the cinema, even if it is super overpriced I have to have the largest one. No cinema has ever had a large popcorn that is too large for me to eat it all. I love popcorn!

I had the most delicious popcorn of my life while visiting EPCOT at Disneyworld. It was caramel corn and oh so delicious.

Del Murder got my a stovetop popcorn popper and so I make kettlecorn like 2-3 times a month. I love kettle corn.
