I've always loved the idea of Quistis and Seifer being a couple, so much so that I've debated writing some smutty fan-fiction for them because I just think they need to get together!

I think after the events of FFVIII Seifer began to seek forgiveness for his actions in FFVIII and went back to Balamb Garden perhaps, and being his old teacher, he went to Quistis and maybe they formed a romantic relationship with each other.

I think Seifer's arrogance and rash nature would pull Quistis out of her shell a little bit, and then in return Quistis's maturity would rub off on Seifer a bit.

I dunno, I'm probably crazy. They'd be cute together I think :jess:

Selphie doesn't seem to show any interest in Squall - and being the hero, women are meant to fawn over him - or Zell - who is physically fit - or even reciprocating Irvine's advances despite his pretty boy appearance. There's seemingly no interest in Seifer and the bad boy streak either. It's not to say that Selphie isn't just uninterested in the men she knows, but she could very well be in some kind of romance with her friend.

Yeah I've always felt a lesbian vibe from Selphie... The interactions between her and Irvine sealed the deal for me. I know she's quite an airhead, but still.

I like the idea of Seifer and Quistis together and I can also see Selphie as a lesbian, although in the end, you see her with the cowboy hat, so that sort of made think that she was just maybe too focused on the mission and didn't want to accept anything from Irvine. Also, she could have just realised that he was being just a player and that's why she wouldn't respond.
Any other interesting couples could be Biggs and Wedge, obviously. I think Adel and Odine would be interesting and I would love to see Elone with someone, maybe Club or Spade or even Joker from CC. Xu and Nida look cute together (and so do Xu and Quistis for that matter).
Fujin and Raijin have obviously got something going on ;)

Edit: I have so changed my mind since I wrote this... I no longer believe Fujin and Raijin have got something going on. I fact, I think Fujin would make a really cool lesbian and for those of you who think Selphie might be one, this would have been a hell of a pairing. I can still see Seifer and Quistis together, but I have no idea where Adel and Odine came from... I must have been in a dark place when I wrote that.

I don't like the idea of a Quistis and Seifer pairing given that Quistis acted as an older sister to many of the children after Ellone left. Given that she was slightly older, I think it creates some strange implications in the same vein as Seifer and Edea.

ok the last one were a bit of a joke

this is a crack pairing but I'm getting addicted to Squaire Farronhart love team.
I used to like Rinoa for Squall but since I played FFVIII again just recently (i last played FFVIII back in 1999 and now I have enough brain cells to better understand what the hell's going on with the story) I instantly realized how flirty Rinoa was, suddenly dumping Seifer for Squall without enough explanation, it makes me want to put Squall into auction and pray that Lightning will get him since she didn't have any love interest and to silence the Lightning is a lesbian theory.
