25th Anniversary ART CONTEST!

In celebration of the 25th Anniversary of Final Fantasy, I'm pleased to host an :save: ART CONTEST :save: :jess:

The rules are going to be pretty straight forward. They are as follows:

1.) The theme can be ANYTHING Final Fantasy related!
2.) Ideally, you will submit a "new" piece, i.e. one you are submitting specifically for this contest. Obviously I can't go browse your old portfolios, so we'll have to go with the honor system here.
3.) It can be any sort of visual art-- digital, hand-drawn, colored, not colored, heck, even photography is welcome!
4.) Must be Safe-for-work. :stare:
5.) To give you all lots of time to get your art in, because I know it can be time-consuming, the deadline is three weeks from today: December 21. (It's the end of the world as we know it, and I feeel fiiiine.) Then we'll hold a site-wide vote to find the favorite!

The winner gets the following things:

Your winning art piece will grace the banner of the EoFF Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/eyesonfinalfantasy) to usher in the new year! It will also be the banner for the EoFF Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/eyesonff) and featured on EoFF tumblr (http://www.tumblr.com/tagged/eyes-on-final-fantasy)!

I could see a chocobo and some robots and other unnamed monsters, so I'm guessing the theme is "Monster Summons"? Just a guess. :)

Heya! She's created by me. I tried to copy the style of former FF heroes. So she might represent all "coming heroes". Thee background is rather easy because all the FF worlds are so great and different! And in general I wanted to create a "touchy atmosphere", cause FF always has touchy stories. :)

If you were wondering what those Shinra guys (The Shin-Ra Company by *DrAssenov on deviantART (http://drassenov.deviantart.com/art/The-Shin-Ra-Company-343097364)) were looking at, well, here they are!

Ifalna, Lucrecia, Elena, Yuffie, Aeris, and Tifa wearing couture gowns. I hurt my hand again (damn overuse injury) so I drew this one on paper and colored this one differently. I also didn't make the BG as nice as the Shinra-men one. That's ok, because who is looking at the background with all those ladies in front of it?! Click the image for a better view.
