Composers return for Lightning Returns

It might not seem like big news, but with the soundtrack of Final Fantasy XIII-2 being touted as one of its best features, having the same team return for Lightning Returns should keep our ears pleased at least.

The return of Masashi Hamauzu, Naoshi Mizuta, and Mitsuto Suzuku was confirmed at the Distant Worlds concert in Chicago on December 7. It was confirmed through a - of all things - poster giveaway. Square Enix is loving these posters!

More information on Lightning Returns will inevitably surface soon, with the game listed in Square Enix's lineup for Jump Fiesta 2013 (http://www.jp.square-enix.com/jf13/) which will be held December 22-23 this year. Watch this space for updates!

I loved the music for XIII-2 so their return is much welcomed. Now if the rest of the SE department (I.E, story and battle mechanics) can get their end sorted then this might actually work!

This is good news. I liked FFXIII's soundtrack except for Crazy Chocobo. But at least they gave me the option to shut that track off, so it's all good!
