My mom bought balut once from the Filipino store. I tried SO HARD to be brave and eat mine, but failed. I ate the egg part but made the mistake of looking down at the balut itself and saw a beak and feathers and was like NOPE JK. HERE, MOM. She ate it within a few minutes.
