Yes, having survived the year - and it was a bit touch-and-go yesterday - our dear Pike has reached the grand old age of 29! So we're going to have a thread dedicated to wishing her the very happiest of birthdays, filled with SMAC, XCOM, Paradox, the continued advancement of robot technology, and a complete inability to relate to typical female behavior!
Not only is Pike my treasured girlfriend, she's also an extremely valuable member of this very site. She's been making at least one thread a day, every day, for the past year. So far that adds up 346 threads, which is pretty damned impressive. She does a huge amount to help the site in many ways, including running this year's Summer Ciddies, running our Twitter AND FB accounts, and generally being an incredibly nice and helpful member. The rest of us, shower of crass layabouts that we are, surely don't deserve her.
So Happy Birthday sweetheart, as a friend, as your boyfriend, and as a fellow member of EoFF, you're tremendously valued and appreciated for all the things you do! May your birthday be filled with pizza and Zakharov quotes!
