With Christmas right around the corner, surely everyone has put their tree up by now right? With this in mind, and because I am also quite bored, I went ahead and took some photos of my Christmas Tree in the living room:

Old decorations, circa 1850. Probably

So, that's my Christmas tree, all nice and decorated with baubles from yesteryear. Point being, send in your Christmas Tree snaps and marvel at our decorating skills! Also, take part in the poll as well.

Didn't bother this year as we are away from the house for Christmas.

I will take some pics and post them tomorrow! Yay, come December 24th! The "real" day to celebrate Christmas on. We open presents and eat like piggies on this glorious of the 24th of December.

It's called being European and superior in our traditions.

It's called being Scandinavian and superior in our traditions.

Germans also celebrate it on the 24th. I only know that because I read that the Royal family do :/

Didn't bother <s>this year</s> for more than the last decade as we are away from the house for every single Christmas of my life.

Too much of a hassle until now

Man, this makes me sound lazy as hell. xD In reality, it goes up on the 15th because until my birthday has passed I refuse to acknowledge that Christmas is coming up. Everyone else may be distracted by Christmas, but I would like to acknowledge that I am getting old. :colbert:

But this year it went up on the 16th, because I was not home long enough last Saturday to put up a Christmas tree. Me, Mr Shauna and my best bud put up the tree together, hungover and tired. It looks damned good somehow.

Nov 20-Nov 30 isn't early in the US. Most people put their Christmas tree up on Thanksgiving.

My tree only went up a couple days ago. It'll probably stay up for an unreasonable amount of time to make up for the late start.

Whenever my mom decides to dig it up 'cause we have no idea where it is. It's a nice small artificial tree which is excellent for this small house. Personally I would set it up the first or second week of December.

A few days after Thanksgiving is the only real way to do it.

These people are all terrible. Christmas trees and other decorations should wait until December, at least.

Shopping and store decorations should begin to appear no earlier than December 1st. Personal decorations should be put up no earlier than the first week of December. Christmas music should never occur but if it must, it should happen no more than two weeks in advance of Christmas Eve.

This is the first year since my fiance and I have been together that we have bothered to get a tree and actually decorate for the holidays. It has taken us six years but it has finally happened. It is a good sized tree, but the decorations on it are slightly barren since we have only just begin collecting Christmas decorations. Eventually we will move towards a completely decked out tree and home and it shall be fun.

I did turn our fridge into a snowman though.
