For example, I know perfectly well that in Notorious B.I.G.'s "Nasty Girl," the chorus goes, "All the ladies if you hear me, grab your titties for B.I.G." .... but for some reason my dumbass mouth keeps singing, "throw your titties at B.I.G."

And here's another instance, this time when I was younger. The proper lyrics for "Bailamos" by Enrique Iglesias are, "let the rhythm take you over, bailamos." .... Yeah, I always sang, "let the rhythm take your head off, bailamos."

Does anyone else experience this or am I just crazy?

Famous Misheard Lyrics...

Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights
Eeee-wheee!
It's me; I'm a tree, I'm a wombat.
Oh, so cold at the end of your winter

Foo Fighters - My Hero
There goes my hero, he's old and hairy

Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit
Here we are now with potatoes
With a mars bar, and potatoes
And some salad and potatoes

Joni Mitchel - Big Yellow Taxi
A gay pair of guys put up a parking lot.

Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody
The algebra has a devil for a sidekick eeeeee

Alice Cooper - Poison
I wanna love you but your hips are a little bit pointed

REM - Losing My Religeon
Let's pee in the corner, Let's pee in the spotlight.

Jimi Hendrix - Purple Haze
'Scuse me, while I kiss this guy

Deep Purple - Smoke on the Water
Slow motion Walter, the fire engine guy

The Bee Gees - Stayin' Alive
Hell you can tell right away I abuse my rock, I'm a woman man, go climb the clock

Also I use to think 'Going to the chapel and I'm, gonna get married' was 'Going to the Jack-o'lantern, gonna get marreid'. :p

I don't want that much for Christmas, I just want my baby here today... with me...

I know all the words to pretty much every song (if it doesn't contain 100 words due to fast singing or rapping), but I usually sing them wrong just because I either can't keep up or due to performance anxiety.

I don't listen to Fall Out Boy all that often these days, but I adore how easy it is to get different lyrics into your head.

ALSO INTO CATS. ALSO INTO CAAAAAAAAAATS. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LucfKdukf10)

RHCP - Scar Tissue:
"With bourbon, sh*t is a lovely view"

I have no idea who the artist is on this one because I heard it on the radio at a bar, but when I inquired about it on FB and LJ at the time, people were able to correctly identify it, and it became the basis for tGA's "Rimnerian Songs." Note that it is a female vocalist:

Every time we touch, I feel Stalin
Every time we kiss, I swear I'm a guy
Can't you feel Tom Hart? He's short.
Retry, fail, abort
Want you in my eye

The sad thing is I could have figured that out without you saying it was a female vocalist.

Cascada - Everytime we touch, right?

Whenever I think of misheard lyrics, I think of Smells Like Teen Spirit and this song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gg5_mlQOsUQ).

I think you're right. I've never heard of the artist.

I think my version is better.

I replace every curse word with its first letter and then 'open square bracket, slur, close square bracket'.

For years I thought "I've got my mind set on you" was "Look out, I might sit on you." Yeah, I dunno.
