Just when you thought the food threads had been left behind in 2012 they - like Bruce Willis - are back with a vengenace. If you're not a fan of these you could say that they need to  Die Hard. YEAAAAAAH! (http://mirrors.rit.edu/instantCSI/) (click the shades on the page)

So, what's your snack of choice for when watching a film (or even tv show marathon)?

I quit eating/drinking during movies because then I can avoid the inevitable bathroom trip.

If I'm at the theaters, Milk Duds or watermelon Sour Patch Kids and Dr. Pepper or water.

At home, nothing, really - I usually take an ice cream break halfway through the movie if I'm feeling sweet.

I was in glory when I lived in Toronto only while at the movies, cause it had a Burger King and Pizza Hut you could buy food from and take into the theatre.

There's this really nice theater where they sell FroYo. It's amazing!

That is rather disturbing. Who would want to sit next to someone for a couple of hours with the stench of a disgusting Whopper pervading the air? Gross.

Dude, the nasty in-house theater pizza and nachos (oh christ those nachos) smell 1000x worse than anything Burger King could ever concoct.

If I'm at the cinema then I would have to go with popcorn and a random carbonated drink.

If I'm at home then it'd probably be pizza and beer.

This has already been said in the "This is awkward" embarrassing moments thread in GC, but I almost choked to death on a malteaser while watching a film. I no longer eat them during films :greenie:

No, I don't actually eat much if I'm watching a film at home, just a drink, which is normally blackcurrant squash or coke/diet coke. When I go out and watch a film, I treat it more as a special occasion and buy popcorn and a drink. Nothing heavy.

Salted popcorn mind. None of this toffee or sweet crap. I like the feeling of my arteries coagulating as I eat :p

You have in-house pizza and nachos places where you live? What country is this, please.

America, fuck yeah.

But no, it's terrible. Century Cinemas can suck it.

Most of the movie places I went to in Canada had a Taco Bell and/or KFC and/or Burger King and/or New York Fries and it was awesome. If we wanted a quick dinner before the movie we just hung out in the theater, They had whole dinning areas as well.

I haven't been to many theaters here yet but I've noticed that they don't have either of those things at the ones I've been to and you buy your tickets outside. I find it a bit strange.

Peanut M&M's. I typically don't eat during a movie unless it's a meal.

Don't worry, people tend to avoid me in most situations, whether or not I carry food...Which I usually do.
