I'm giving myself a grace period until I'm back from vacation so I haven't even started mine yet :(

I put £800 into my savings today.
I'm now at £2000 so halfway to my July target /smug

The only resolution I made was to read more, and so far I've been keeping up to that resolution.

I put $1000 in. :D I don't have any specific target, just SAVE. Enough to get a ticket, I guess!
I think I've been quite a bit nicer, honestly.
Going back to the gym today.
Haven't done any writing prompts, though. :(

I start work in earnest tomorrow, so the saving will begin then. But straight off the bat I'll have to buy a new laptop so that's going to set me back.

If you need help, there is a new book by an old advisor of mine,
Changeology Book (http://www.changeologybook.com/)
That is geared at helping people change themselves (resolutions)

I made a post-New Year's resolution of putting a 100$/pay into my savings account (might increase to 200$/pay in the summer). Gonna save up and go to Japan when I graduate and visit my friend. :D

New Years Resolution? What New Years Resolution?

Mine have been going pretty badly as I'm on 2 weeks of the 5pm-2am shift which makes doing most of my resolutions pretty difficult. Once I'm off this shift I'll get on the wagon again.

What are your resolutions?

My resolutions from last year:
- Weight Loss - check, though not nearly as much as I could have done due to a) negligence and b) a rather rocky year
- Stop drinking Fizzy Drinks - check, apart from occassional nights out - but that's a massive improvement over the 3 to 4 cans a day I used to go through
- Make an iOS game - Nope, more due to procrastination than anything. I got one level done though.
- Learn a Musical Instrument - Nope
- Get the job I was going for - Nope
- Get my hair cut every 2 months - Not by a long shot
Resolutions for 2013:
- Sort my mental problems out
- Continue weight loss
- Join local Athletics Club
- Finish that iOS game
- Get the job I want
- Start doing more freelance Graphic Design work and build a more organised portfolio
Also add the haircut thing to 2013 too :p

My new year's resolution? It's simple; kill the Batman.

Just a little adventure game that draws upon elements of Zelda and FF - though I think I might have set too lofty goal posts for one person to accomplish.

Your resolution was for world peace and for war to be held at bay so we don't blow ourselves up in a nuclear firefight? Awww, Wesley, we have the same goal!

My resolution was to save the world.
Your resolution was to smoke pot and worship Mother Earth.
We do not have the same goal.

I never resolve to do anything, but so far this year is going very well. I like 2013.
Ouch!

The wonderful soreness in my quads suggests squats are going well. Not really a resolution, just getting back to the routine after I fell off the wagon in November.

Haha, I'm right there with you man. I had the notorious "Ohfuckjesus! Can't walk!" post-workout burn after I started up again. xD

I think the stairs leading up to my gym were designed with torturing people on leg day in mind :(

Same situation in my gym. It's god damned evil.

I almost did once. Stumbled the last few and almost knocked somebody over. Very embarrassing.

Yeah my gym has that too, the gym up a floor and a half from where the reception and changing rooms are and you have to go up this ridiculously semi-spiral stair case... there's not even an elevator. Oh well, nothing like a post-workout stair well...
