Along with the opening of beta applications for non-legacy members, Square Enix released the Opening cinematic for A Realm Reborn this morning. Well over half of it is from the End of an Era cinematic that accompanied the end of version 1.x, but content after about the five-and-a-half minute mark is new material.

Rampant speculation, go!

*Midlander's chocobo has Legacy armor. His party members' chocobos don't. ><
*The Circle of Knowing are all wearing a weird mechanical device and have a new eye motif on their clothes.
*Does the midlander's party teleport back into Mor Dhona (i.e. they moved through time but not place?); this is probably the "special starting area" for transferred characters, as opposed to new characters who start at the cities
*Speculation from official forums: Louisoix is Odin. Plausible? Also Sleipnir only has 4 legs instead of 6/8 :mad2:
