What are your "go to" tracks for when you need that burst of motivation or inspiration?

Pretty much the entirety of Jeff Buckley's Grace. His album(s) has such an ethereal and otherworldly mystique to it, and it runs so much emotions and ranges you can't help but be inspired by it. "Mojo Pin", "Lilac Wine", "Lover, You Should've Come Over", "Hallelujah", and "Corpus Christi Carol" are amongst the best.

Many of Damien Rice's and Florence + The Machine's tracks invoke inspiration as well. Also, Radiohead.

Also, "Dreams" by Fleetwood Mac. I cry the gayest tears ever.

It depends on what I want to get inspired for! Here's a pretty solid list that always does the job for me:

Rilo Kiley - Spectacular Views (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1AHkgWeXwo)
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Tell Me, Baby (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xm_tSqFbW0A)
Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes - Home (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHEOF_rcND8)
fun. - Barlights (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4oob-Fdt2s)
The White Stripes - Hotel Yorba (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOAAQcSgxuA)

Not for every situation, but if shit's going down then there's really one option which stands out head and drunken shoulders above the rest:

Passionflower by Jon Gomm. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nY7GnAq6Znw)

This is possibly my favorite song I have ever heard, it is super uplifting, and it always puts me in a good mood. I play it on repeat sometimes when I just feel like crap and am needing to get schoolwork done.

For a song that makes doing even the simplest tasks seem like doing the most incredible achievements just because you're listening to the song while doing them, look no further than Jurassic Park's Main Theme. Talk about grand and epic.

For me, 'motivational' generally involves 'songs that wake me up', because they stop me from falling asleep when I need to do something. The following songs fit that pretty well...

the goo goo dolls - Big Machine (not the lyrics, just the music itself generally kicks my brain into action)
Dizzee Rascal & Florence + The Machine - You've Got the Dirtee Love (as above)
Republica - Ready To Go (title of the song = self-explanatory)
Survivor - Eyes of the Tiger (hi, Ciddies)
Europe - The Final Countdown (hi, Ciddies)
Hall & Oates - You Make Me Feel Brand New (a happy, upbeat song to both wake me up and put a smile on my face)
Frou Frou - Let Go (perhaps not a wake-up song but I like listening to music like this when I'm in a creative zone)
Example - Watch the Sun Come Up (ditto the above)

And Flobots - No Handlebars deserves a mention because the lyrics always appeal to me as a motivational thing.

I will only ever think of Gob Bluth when I hear The Final Countdown.

I listen to a mix of Iron & Wine, Opeth, Chopin, and Jose Gonzalez when I write.
