Okay, so this will be a poll. Who do you want to see win?

The San Francisco 49ers?
The Baltimore Ravens?

Or smurf the Super Bowl, I'm watching the Puppy Bowl IX!

I don't know what the fuck a Baltimore even is and I quite like San Francisco so I'm going for the latter. I will not be watching this, however, and I will undoubtedly claim I wanted the Ravens to win all along should they do so. This post will be edited accordingly.

I watch the Superbowl every year and I am always clueless to who is the favourite. I do not follow the NFL in the slightest during the regular season. I'm assuming the 49ers will be favourites so I'll cheer for the Ravens.

I'm hoping this will be the year when i finally find out what the 'line of scrimmage' is.

Not that I am rooting for this result, but I think the Ravens are going to take it. Either way I hope it is an exciting, high scoring game most analysts predict it to be.

Most analysts are predicting a high scoring game despite it being two of the best defenses in the league? That's an interesting sort of logic.

I want the 49ers to win because I'm tired of hearing about Ray Lewis. I also like Kaepernick a lot more than Flacco.

I think it is weird too, but all score predictions are say something like: [winner] 31 [loser] 28

Ouch!

They're two of the best defenses in the league, but they're also two of the best offenses in the league as well.

At any rate, I'm rooting for the Ravens, because I wanna see Ray Lewis and Ed Reed win a Super Bowl the year they retire (I'd be surprised if Reed returns) for my alma mater. I expect that San Francisco will win, though.

What is the Puppy Bowl? Please. Explain. It sounds awesome.

As for the NFL, I'm not from America, so I can't say I care for it. I'll go for the 49'ers if only because I have heard of that team in passing in the past decade.

I though Jacoby Jones should have won the MVP that awesome run back and that sweet catch that he turned into a touch down. Two plays that result in 14 points for the Ravens. Flacco played great but those two plays stood out to me as being that important to me.

I love how everywhere else on the internet (not so much here), people are bitching and moaning about the non-call on the obvious holding penalty on the fake punt/safety. Even if the call had been made, it wouldn't have mattered. Holding in the endzone results in a safety, which was already the result of the play anyway, and you can't flag a play dead for holding or put time back on the clock. Everyone was holding because it was the smart thing to do.

The commercials were, with very few exceptions, absolutely horrible. The Go Daddy commercials were absolute trash as expected.

As for the game, it was thoroughly enjoyable in the second half but the first half was just boring. I figured it would be closer all game, not a shutout the first half. I'm not really happy that the Ravens won, but it isn't for any reason other than I dislike Flacco and Lewis to a significant degree.

Lewis' post-game speech on the little podium only ensured that. He is one of the most arrogant pieces of trash I have ever seen.

It was the most exciting Super Bowl in ages.

Maybe if you define "ages" as "the past couple of years." The first entire half was almost boring, but the second half did make up for it. Still, Giants-Patriots (round 1) and Steelers-Cardinals were more consistently entertaining (possibly the latter only because the Arizona playoff run was so hilariously awesome).
