View Full Version : princess garnet lost her voice!
I lose interest in this part and have called it quits on two separate occasions. What's ahead to motivate me to finish this game?
MARK YOUR SPOILERS I DON'T WANNA PLAY IT NOW :aimcry:

What?
You are missing out on possibly the greatest second half and ending of all the Final Fantasy games. After Garnet loses her voice, that is when the story really kicks it into overdrive. At least I think so. Plus, this game has the best ending ever. Okay maybe not a spoiler, but just wanted to play it safe.

HOW COULD YOU NOT LIKE VIVI HE'S AN ANGELIC LITTLE INNOCENT BLACK MAGE THAT FALLS ON HIS FACE AND CALMLY QUESTIONS HIS EXISTENCE WHILE HELPING EVERYONE AROUND HIM AND HIS HAT HANGS LOW 'CAUSE HE'S A MFING OG PLAYA AND HE EVEN HAS CHILDREN EVEN THOUGH WHERE THE HELL DOES IT GO AMIRITE
Anyway.
1.) Terra is awesome. I love going through Terra. I get fired up. You will get fired up, too.
2.) Chocobo Hot & Cold, GREATEST THING EVER? YES? DO IT?
3.) smurf Garnet, ignore her, don't use her! Use Eiko, Vivi, Steiner!
4.) Eventually you get a better airship.
P.S. AND DON'T YOU FEEL TOUCHED THAT HE WAS ABLE TO FIND A MALE ROLE MODEL AFTER THAT CREEPY QU THING DIED, AND HE WAS SO ALONE OH THE LONELINESS AND THE SYMPATHY THAT CAN BE RAINED ON THAT POOR CHILD

Towards the end you can play cards against phantoms. They play just like regular card players. You can also fight Hades himself.
And ffs people, I know the game is old but the whole premise of this thread is that Jowy hasn't finished the game and you go and talk loudly about some of the biggest spoilers the game has to offer :colbert: I went and spoiler marked the shit out of your posts (bite me, forums staff).
I'm pretty sure Eric's sensitive, fragile, porcelain demeanor can handle it, Rantz-Big-Boy-Pantz.
And that Qu-thing is hardly a spoiler, he can access that sidequest by now. :colbert:

While that is far and away the most irritating part of the game, the best part of the game is after that point.

The You're Not Alone segment is one of the most powerful moments of character development in the series. It's truly something that deserves to be experienced.

What Laddy said.
And Zidane is Vivi's father, Queen Brahne Isn't Real, Rosebud was the name of Kuja's sled, and Beatrix is a ghost the whole time.
