From preset one to preset six:

Mix 93.3, which plays current hits
94.9 KCMO (also known as Oldies 95), which plays oldies
99.7 the Point, which is a mixture of different things
Alice 102.1, which is a mixture of things, but plays a lot of current hits, and more hipster stuff than any of the others
Jack 105.1, which is also a mixture of things, but plays a lot more rock than the other two
St. Jo 105.5, which is also a mixture, but plays a lot more pop stuff

I do everyday since I only have a cassette player in the car :p

I listen to VPR (Vermont Public Radio) and Q106 which is Rock from the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. I tend to listen to VPR on my way to work for BBC Outlook and then on the way home I tune to Q106 for Imus in the morning.

I listen to news or classic rock. If I have passengers, they usually choose what station to listen to. :(

I have this device called an iPod. Instead of being bombarded by commercials and only listening to music and/or edits that are approved by executives, I choose what I listen to.

That or sports radio around football season for the most part.

EDIT: I don't mean to come off as snobby for the record. I just have a huge disdain for radio.

I make my own CDs... If I MUST listen to the radio I listen to classic rock station or alternative station.

105.9 - The X - Pittsburgh's Rock Alternative! They play "Rainbow in the Dark" around 1:16 PM every weekday and have Mike Lange screaming whatever he feels like into a microphone during Penguins games. I love it.

Actually it's more about a lack there of, so really any song about a Rainbow wins by default here.

Every car I get in has the radio on, so I'd say at least weekly. It's usually the typical stations like Z100. I also occasionally listen to XM Radio, but only on the internet.

I have 12 presets for FM stations, six for AM and a weatherband. I listen to the radio more than anything because my iPod is busted and I ain't gettin' another one.

The first six presets are 105.9 The Mountain which calls itself "Everything that Rocks." Really it's old, pervy male DJs who are not interesting, one sexy-voiced female DJ who has to work at two stations within the same radio group for some reason, and they play the same 200 rock singles from 1965 - 2000. They play a lot of Nickelback and their one big promotion all year is a pageant for women who want careers in porn to get as naked as possible for a calendar.

Second preset is 93.3 the Planet from Greenville, SC. It is marginally better, but the hosts are these super huge fat hypocrites who amazingly have hot wives and girlfriends. They recycle all of their bits for the morning show. Like Mondays they play X bit during the prime segment (like 0730) and then on Tuesday they "repremiere" the bit during the 0630 segment. The music is a little better with at least some modernity.

Third is 103.5 from Tennessee which is a pretty good classic rock station. Fourth is 99.9 Kiss country which is the most popular station in WNC because the morning show host is a hot local with a thick accent. Don't judge me. I wish they played more country from the 90's. Fifth is Mix 96.5 which is adult contemporary/lite rock. Think the Carpenters, Michael Bolton and Kelly Clarkson, on the same station. Six is the best station, WNCW 88.7. They play bluegrass! NPR! More bluegrass! Jazz! Local music! Awesome stuff.

The next set goes classic rock station, horrible pop station, a country station that plays more classic stuff, another pop station and 98.1 the River which is mostly hipster shit but sometimes plays k.d. lang.

I listen to the same radio station I've been listening to since I was fourteen - X96.3 in Salt Lake City (http://www.x96.com/home). I primarily listen to the Radio From Hell (http://www.spreaker.com/page#!/show/the_radio_from_hell_show) morning show podcasts, but occasionally I'll listen to the music they play during the day to see what kind of music is going around Utah still. Radio From Hell has been cited one of the top five radio programs in the nation and is one of the longest running local radio programs in the US (started in 1986). It reminds me of home and gives me the local news there while still keeping on top of national and international stuff.

I love the hosts and I'm hoping I can sit in on one of their mornings when I go back to Utah because they commonly let guests come and sit with them during the shows and stuff.

I have an auxillary jack in my car so I don't listen to the radio. I don't even know what stations are what here.

I technically have that station programmed into my stereo along with WROQ 101, but the only thing I listen to on the radio are the local college station and NPR. I do like me some NPR.

I typically listen to Slacker or Pandora on my phone in the car. If I'm not going to be in the car very long, or my phone is dead or some other scenario that keeps me from using it, I typically listen to 97.9 WNCI.

I can occasionally guess the writer or the piece he's emulating, but never both. :(
