EGG

What is your favourite kind of egg?
I like poached egg on toast with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Glorious.

Fried egg is amazing. Can't go wrong with an omelette either.

Scrambled eggs are bad though.

All eggs are good.

Poached with roasted asparagus is nice but I can never quite get 'em right

Over easy. Just like a ho.

Over easy as well... LOL. *commits joke to memory to use in the future*

I also like to cook them over easy with crumbled feta cheese melted on top and some pepper. AMAZING.

Omlette du fromage.

Omelette, eggs benedict, boiled, egg mayonaise... all go well with me. Lately due to my renewed training regime I've been adding hard-boiled eggs to my chicken, rice and veg mix.

Omelet is the correct answer.

Otherwise I only eat 'em scrambled.

I think... I think I'm gonna go with hard boiled. Or does deviled count? Sunny side up is also good; I like a runny yolk.

Chris, you are terrible for that. :(

I like variety with eggs, so I can easily get sick of them if I keep having the same thing over and over.

For just an egg, fried is best.
For an egg-based recipe, omelette (the ham and cheese variety) and scrambled eggs are both wonderful.

Chris jesus christ I will ban you

Over easy and omelette, or one-eyed-chicken (http://www.chopchopmag.org/sites/default/files/imagecache/grid-5/one_eyed_beauty2.jpg) style with syrup slathered all over it. Mmmm.

It's so weird. Different regions call that different things. Here it's a hen/chicken-in-a-basket. I've heard hen-in-a-nest. My friend from Arizona said they always called it eggy-in-a-hole.

Boiled nom nom

If I eat it boiled without the yoke I will be okay. The yoke makes me feel sick.

And wtf at the pic Chris

more relevant: the real chicken in a basket (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXF0ovsRcQg)

I like scrambled eggs and some omelets (cheese, tomato, salsa, sausage) but I'm not big on any omelets with ham or mushrooms or peppers or whatever else. I also almost always hate eggs from restaurants. That's one of the main reasons I don't like breakfast restaurants (ironically coming from the girl who goes to Waffle House weekly). I don't know why they just do stuff to their eggs that I do not like at all. But I don't mind them if I make them myself at home.

Fried, scrambled, soft or hard boiled, omelette... you better god damn believe I will eat all of the motherfucking eggs.

Chris, next time please but pictures of Filipino specialties in spoiler tags. That image is gross. Thank you.

Eggs are so versatile. There is almost no limit to what they can do.

That filipino speciality is so ordinary. Haven't you guys ever watched one of those travel programs? It's like the first thing they do when going there.

haha inspired by this thread the other day I successfully made myself a nice chicken and cheese omelette. I hadn't successfully made an omelette in almost 2 years.
