Well, happy belated Valentine's Day everyone! I hope all of you have some chocolates or candy or heart cards that said "Be Mine Valentine" and blah, blah, blah I am getting to the point of this thread.

So you guys are aware of Firion, the colored rouge weapon specialist from Final Fantasy II and Lightning (Claire) Farron, the ex-leader with the thing for roses from Final Fantasy XIII. What do they both have in common? People who played Dissidia 012 should know the answer, yes, it's the Wild Rose! It's always the Wild Rose that represents symbolism. Yays for symbolism!

For Valentine's Day (though it's a bit late) and for my love for this unlikely pairing who I greatly support, I would like to share the artwork I made from the inspiriation of the cutscense from the game on YouTube.

I really like this. You have the scenery part down perfectly to set the mood between them. It's very nice. :heart: :love:

Thank you! I tried to keep the Valentine's Day color scheme (reds, pinks, golden yellows, warm brown, anything that means love).

I like this! I can totally see Firion x Lightning. From what I've seen of her in FFXIII, she seems like she isn't really attracted to anyone, but I can see it happening from that video you posted. :D I like how the reds and pinks really warm up the drawing! Keep it up, and keep posting your work!

Thank you very much! :D I've put my effort into such Valentine's Day color schemes and the idea of having a tree with rose petals coming down adds a nice touch (which alludes from the video where Lightning said about the rose petals dancing in the air).
Really? No wonder why Lightning was not so feminine as I thought she was, but it seems that there are guys taking a great liking for her, including Firion though he tries not to admit it. C'mon Rosebud, you so love her! Admit it!! It's really too bad that he didn't blush when he saw her or Cecil teasing him about it. That would've been so sweet and innocent! :)
