Alternatively there's one I delivered before to someone else but it apparently elicits a most stern response:

My mother kept this from me until after I had graduated with honors and was going for my teaching degree, but I admit I was disappointed to hear that teacher had retired by the time I was subbing at my old high school. OH, this reminded me. My old middle school gym coach told me I was going to be a nobody when I grew up.
Backstory: He was so overweight he needed a 3 pronged cane to walk, and his health was unreliable at best. Not to mention he was worthless as a coach. He's partially given me the drive to come back and shove a degree right up his ass, I'll give him that.

I got called a bitch today by a girl who was upset that I was complaining about the American healthcare system while using up her tax paying dollars to sit on welfare. Thing is, I am not now, nor have I ever been, on welfare. I pretty much just ignored that one because I mean, really.

In seriousness, being called boring/apathetic/dull/dispassionate probably stings the most because it's what hits closest to home. But I take it in stride. :D What infuriates me most is condescension, but that can encompass anything so it's probably off topic.
