In the town where I live, someone has been walking around in the middle of the night, sticky-taping hundreds of ziplock-bagged tortillas to power poles and the exterior of random buildings.

The culprit has not yet been caught, and us townsfolk are all on the lookout for someone buying bulk quantities of corn tortillas xD.

What strange things have you seen lately; other than the consumption of soup as a drink?

Someone keeps leaving their oatmeal bowls in the sink. I have yet to catch the offender. :colbert:

This is kind of a common occurrence, but it really freaks me out when I see lone shoes on the side of the road. especially kids shoes. Someone needs those shoes!

That reminds me, I saw a stuffed bear on the side of a path today. It was soaked and dirty and I was depressed as heck because who could leave a teddy out in the rain like that?

The corn tortillas I buy keep going missing from my cupboard.

In January I saw sad Batman in Las Vegas. People being bummed in Vegas is pretty normal but you don't see a dejected Batman every day.

Why is there just one prawn sitting on the bottom ledge of the freezer?

Who did the prawn belong too?

Why is it still there?

The tortilla thing is really strange!! And I also think that a dejected looking Batman is no common sight at all. Also, I like that guy's tophat!

I don't remember any weird things lately but about two years ago I saw Darth Vader on the side of the road in London. I took a pic of him and he actually posed for me!!

Yeah, c'mon, Nicky, we know it's you. On a sidenote, that is all kinds of fantastic.

How could you ever accuse me of doing such a thing? You of all people should know how important I view stuffed toys! THEY HAVE ALTER EGOS AND EVERYTHING.

I came in drunk the other night and it seems I passed out on the sofa instead of dragging myelf up to bed. Now this is not an altogether uncommon occurrence though the real mystery was to be revealed the following morning. When I opened the fridge it seems that someone had taken a huge bite out of my block of cheddar cheese.

Now, I was the only person in the house, the doors were locked and there was no obvious sign of a break-in. I honestly believe that in years to come, this will rank as one of the top three mysteries of all time. Along with the Bermuda Triangle and the continued success of Justin Bieber.

I love mysteries like these. Makes you question your own sanity.

Indeed! The couple of crumbs of cheddar on the sofa seem to point to something... I'm just not sure what.

I'm pretty familiar with mysteries like these as well, and I am afraid something might happen tonight, just not sure what. I always prefer to put the blame on birds and squirrels that like to hang on my yard and balcony. They always fuck things up.

Daniel Towns, Teddy Abusist.

You're a terrible heartless person if you think I'm a teddy abusist. I haven't thrown out a teddy EVER. Just dropped one. When I was three. And HE WAS FINE aside from his nose which got chipped. ;_;

Strange occurrences? There's this one lobster that keeps coming around and taping his drawings all over the room while I'm asleep. I caught him in the act once, but I had to let him go because I liked the drawing.

Did you take the title to this thread from a T.V. series. I will point it out again that the title is redundant.

We've come a long way since those days. For adults that 'aliens' did it is the school days excuse 'my dog ate it'. When humans don't have to report everything to everyone you'd better believe there's mysteries.

Someone keeps moving my keys, and my drinks, my food, my towels, my xbox controllers, my ps2 games...etc.etc.

Who could keep doing this... ah, wait. I have a two year old.

i'm naked, there's a Tijuanaian foot model sleeping on the bed, and the hotel staff keep knocking on the door shouting something in Russian

but the biggest mystery here is why i'm browsing eoff instead of trying to figure out the reason for this cell phone with 'launch codes' texts that was duct taped to my stomach

Tijuanaian foot model

You met my lobster friend? He said he was a foot model once. And he does look kinda Mexican. Here's one of his profile shots from a sandal modelling job. If this is the same lobster, we may have quite a situation on our hands.

Note: don't give him the launch codes
