In which we discuss our dogs.

Mine is Carly. She's a four year-old tri-colored Pembroke Welsh Corgi. She's got a lot of spunk and attitude, but is generally a sweetheart, if a bit prissy. She likes to play in the yard but tends to get jealous of other dogs sometimes. Ever since she's moved in with my sister since I moved out I've been afraid if she's been getting enough exercise and proper nutrition. :(

I love her to death, though. She's been remarkably easy to train, especially considering all of her energy. She doesn't bark too badly anymore, and is fluffy as fuck. I taught her how to hug people too. ^^

So, do you have a dog? What breed are they? How old are they? Let's talk about our dogs. :excited:

I have 4 rottweilers. Always had at least one rottie since as far back as I can remember. I've been breeding dogs since for 10 years so have a pretty good knowledge about looking after puppies :) I also used to train dogs and have a couple of awards for doing so. My favourite breeds are all german! Rottweilers, German Shepard and Boxer. I love working breeds because they're such amazing dogs! I really want a GSD of my own one day, love big dogs!

My dogs are called Cleo, Darla, Maddie and Magnum. And they are my favourite babies ever. ^_^ will add some pics in here later!

I don't personally have a dog, but this is the closest I have to actually owning one. xD

My Mum has a dog, a lhasa apso. It's just over a year old. She called it Amor Mio for some bizarre reason. Stupidly cuddly thing that is a bit too hyperactive sometimes. Like, I walk in the door and I can barely move for fear of stepping on the thing. xD

My dog, Petrie, died last summer :(. He was a chocolate lab. He had kidney failure, and his last few weeks weren't very good. I still miss him.

Other than that, thanks to me moving around a lot, I have lived with many dogs. The longest span would be Nero and Echo, rottweilers, owned by my mom's ex boyfriend and his brother (who lived together). Nero was very well trained. Echo was a sweetheart. My grandmother has had many rottweilers. Duke, Chemo (who used to belong to my father), Rambo, Coachies, Mika, Bunny, and Baby are the ones I remember. There were others, but I was very young when they passed on. Her and my grandfather had a total of 14. Most of them have passed on now. She also had a chihuahua named Chiko. He was the black and white colour so he looked like a mini rottweiler. I also at one point lived with a dalmatian.

Sorry to hear that shion. One of my dogs also had kidney failure and passed away. I still have my other two dogs though. One is randomly hyper at night or early in the morning. Then she sleeps pretty much the rest of the day. She's very friendly, but likes to push her weight around. The other dog I have is a hunting dog. My dad can just say "get 'em" and she'll be on alert for squirrels and such. She's not as friendly with most people, but has never bitten anyone.

My favorite dog was a half black lab, half german shephard mix. He was a huge, happy, ridiculous dog. We use to play together allllll the time. It was fantastic. I put sunglasses on him once and he was pretty dope about it. My parents sent him to a home (foster family?) while we were sent to Germany for 3 years. They kept my dog. :C

My 'new' dog is awesome too! I have no clue what her mix is since we rescued her from the pound, but we got her when she was a year old. Now she's 11 or 12, I have no clue. She's always got this goofy ass look on her face that basically says to me "I have no idea what's going on, but people are talking and that makes me happy." She and my cat get a long fantastically. I think my cat is a year older and was very ANGRY when we brought the dog home, but now they're best friends and they hang out all the time.

I currently have ; dogs at home, and ive had 6 total throughout my life

First we had yeller our yellow lab. When i was a kid this one stray dog tried to attack me and yeller stood inbetween us and made the stray run off. He died of lung cancer after an unfortunate runin with a skunk :/

Then we have casey our cocker spaniel. She was our polar bear. We got her as a stray, and she potty trained all of our future dogs and was amazingly sweet. She lived about 16 years and eventually went blind and died of old age.

Ill finish the other 4 soon. Ive got to go for now

My dog is a 3 1/2 year old pit bull named Achilles. I decided I wanted a puppy for my birthday in 2009 so I went on craigslist to have a look and found someone whose dogs had an accidental litter and wanted to find the puppies homes for free. They were only a week old, but asked people to come pick out the ones that they wanted and they could come back to get them when they were old enough. I was torn between another darkly colored puppy and Achilles - ultimately, his "monroe spot" sold me, and I chose him.

I don't have one but I want one :( I don't have the space or money for one though, so it wouldn't be fair to the poor creature.

never owned a dog myself, but I used to live with a couple dogs so i essentially got the perks of dog ownership without the work. there was Sanders, a black lab/greyhound mix who had boundless energy. he smelled like wet dog a lot but he was lovable. then there was Juneau, a brown/white husky who was the prettiest dog anyone's ever seen ever, possibly. she was adorable.

My favorite, and unfortunately now deceased, dog was my yellow lab Sierra. She was great! My favorite memory of her was when she was a puppy and had the walking farts. Hey I know, lowbrow humor, but when there's four legs involved with the walkies it's hysterical. :p

The family dog is this flying machine of a whippet:

41814

He's a racing dog and he loves it.

41815

Only see him occasionally these days though. He probably wonders where I went (read: he probably doesn't).

My mom's dog is a King sized German Shepard and we don't get along. If he were a person, he would be the geek that is allergic to everything, a bit dopey, and gets swirlies.

We've always owned a German Shepard. Dad's was a all black one named Babe and mine was a pure breed named Cristy. She was the best dog ever.

This is my Lizzie. She is my soul.

We go adventuring together. She loves to eat. She loves to sleep. When she's allowed on the bed, she snuggles up and I'll some times wake up to find her head on my pillow. She's super agile. And so so sooo quick. She runs like the wind. She's a hunting dog, and even though I hate the idea of her killing other animals, I have to admit that when she stalks her prey and leaps in for a kill, she's fucking beautiful.

She can be a lazy sack of bones some times, but it's ok, because that just means we can chill out together.

She's approaching middle age but I think she's aging gracefully. She's a beauty.

They say dogs reflect their owner's personality.

I don't have a dog but I want one. We are currently arguing over what kind of dog to get - she wants a corgi, I want something useful.

This is a photo from the last litter we had about 2 years ago. After playtime they'd all lie against the wall in the yard like this. We called it the nap train.

My wife got a Bich-on Frise a year before we got married, so now I got one too.

Unlike most of them though- she never barks or yaps. Having a quiet dog is great.

The family dog passed away about 5 years ago. She was a cute eskie. Here are a couple of pics showing how bad ass she was.

If Liam Neeson was a dog, that'd be your dog. She's badass and adorable at the same time.
