I thought that for a long time, but then someone told me they do that so your friends can look at your trophies and have an idea of how far you've gotten in the story/campaign. Makes sense I guess.

The worst ones are the "achievements" you get for, literally, doing nothing that requires effort, like "THE ADVENTURE BEINGS (Start a new game file!)" or the God of War Collection's "GETTING MY ASS KICKED (Die enough times to get offered easy mode!)"

I don't want any bulltrout trophies that are impossible to not get by finishing the main story. No "reached luca", no "reached calm lands", no "defeated yunalesca",and of course no "started a new game". Those things suck dick.

Perhaps one for winning your first Blitzball tournament, and probably one for each of the optional bosses. Probably one for activating every built-in node on the sphere grid, and maybe one for activating every single node.

For X-2, there should be trophies for beating the hardest sphere break games, a trophy for 100% (or 102% if you want to be anal about it), perhaps a trophy for each of the via infinito bosses. Perhaps trophies for acquiring all jobs, and perhaps trophies for maxing out jobs. Again, no bulltrout trophies that are auto-earned by completing the main story. One trophy named "completed the game" is enough when it comes to that. In X-2's case, one for each of the endings.

If they have online blitzball then I would be one happy child. But that seems unlikely considering there are limited number of people to recruit for your team and everyone knows who the best ones are. They'd have to revamp it completely.

It would be awesome if this game would give you the option of skipping Blitzball. I don't care about playing it, and I certainly don't care about the trophy. Just skip it, and treat it as if you lost the tourny.

I find Sphere Break worse. My mental arithmetic sucks, and I barely scraped through the Shinra tournament match to win Lady Luck (Which took me several tries). I don't want to encounter the bloody 5 star players who will defeat me in by round 8!

There will probably be a trophy for getting all coins and a trophy for all job classes so beating Shinra or that "captain" will be obligatory. And digging for coins in the desert.

Simply because of what you have already said and I am used to clearing the hardest things for trophies (in Final Fantasy even without trophies). Kingdom Hearts Final Mix requires you to clear all 3rd Level Missions of the Gumi Jet.
