Just a game.

Imagine if the person who last posted came into your work as a client/patient/customer/student etc. how/would you treat them differently than others? how do you imagine the interaction would go down.

Ex. If Raistlin came into my restaurant I would treat him normally, but gain pleasure in knowing that he would likely be too paranoid that Ive done something to his food/drink to ever actually enjoy the meal. Our night will end with him offering his own body as tip. Sadly we split tips 6 ways and the head chef Emmett always takes his first.

I think about this sometimes! Assuming I knew you were you, I would say hi, offer to help you find anything and maybe ask if you wanted to go get a drink or something after work, and then probably disappear to the stacks to "shelve books".

I would treat Nicky like The Queen and curtsy and bow and fetch her water or tea or whiskey and seat her on our finest leather chair while she waited for whatever it is she came into my work for.

I don't get people coming in to my work since I work on a telephone. However if Shorty was to call us up with problems needing troubleshooting. I would probably express that as in everything, it is her in the wrong. Politely mind you, calls are recorded for training and monitoring purposes.

If Sarah walked into my place of work I would have her ejected by security with devastating promptness. And not just escorted out. I'm talking full on Beverly Hills Cop Axel Foley being thrown through a giant window ejected. Not on my watch, Cobb. Not on my watch. :colbert:

If Dan came into the office I work in, I would first be highly suspicious of his presence in North Carolina as my current knowledge of him puts him either in Japan or in Sunny Beach, where ever that may be. I would then ask if I could help him.

He would say something like "Can't you see I've got a leg off, love? Scuttle on back and locate a proper physician to have a look at this bloody stump." I would lean over the desk to look at his two intact legs. In doing this I would over-lean and fall out of my chair, crashing to the floor. Dan would laugh. Having bitten my tongue almost in two, I would curse and promptly be terminated for rudeness to a patient. Dan would go back to Sunny Beach, I would move into a Doritos bag below an overpass in some bitterly cold mid-western city.

If foa came into my work, I would send her out dish, after dish of tastiness and then pay for her meal. Afterwards we'd go out for drinks!

If Bobby came to my work I'd tell him to stop staring at me in my short shorts, get a shovel and help me.

If any EoFFer came into my place of work I would avoid eye contact and pack their bags and not talk to them about the internet

Seeing as I work with adults with special needs, I think Parker coming into my work really wouldn't be that noteworthy.

A lot of you probably already come into my "workplace", not mine but a similar one. We ARE on a video game message board. And if that's the case I would give you awesome customer service like I do with everyone. I'd tell pike and hux that, sorry but our PC section is tiny and there aren't and strategy games :(

Sephex

I would wonder why Freya suddenly appeared on the shop floor or my desk while I was doing my usual QA business. I would then awkwardly ask her if she wanted an application and proceed to warn her that the various perverts here are going to stare at her all day no matter if she is at my job for an opening or not.

Then I would ask her what her favorite Final Fantasy game is.

Mikztsu
03-25-2013, 05:50 PM
If Sephex ended up in my ward, it would mean he's having Alzheimer or something like that. Then I would just hope he wouldn't remember me, because it'd be kinda awkward to be in situation like that. Especially if he would have to use diapers just because he doesn't remember when to shit and piss.

Shiny

I would think Mik would be looking for the Made room, and show him to the right area. He just seems like the type of guy that they'd want on that horrible show.

I would laugh. And laugh. And laugh. Then make her do push-ups. Can't show favoritism just because I know her.

ask if you wanted to go get a drink or something afte work
Yes, but I warn you, I am partial to more than just one.

If undead came to my work I would bring him endless beer (and then make him pay for it) and likely be repremended for spending too much time talking about zombies with a customer. We would make out amoung the mops and boxes of straws and sugar sticks in the back. Xoxo

Loony BoB once contacted me through my work email and I gave him the same response I give to all my clients. Literally. I use Gmail's "canned response" option to quickly answer common email requests. :p I think it weird him out!

considering my current place of "work" is my house, i'd be pretty weirded out if ANY of you showed up without warning. how did you find out where i live

I did not know Gmail had that feature. Can I get that in real life? I'm real close to passing out an FAQ card every time someone asks me a pregnancy question. July 15th, fine, girl, my first, no name, and yes I'm excited FFS.

I treat most people the same at work. If someone's visibly bummed I might do something extra nice for them, or if something went wrong in their day I might give them something for free. Celebrities get treated the same, though sometimes a VIP will send down a representative to buy things for them and we have to get all their shit ready in advance, but nothing that's a big deal.

If one of you showed up, I would assume it's because your car broke down on a road trip. It's a bit of a drive just for maintenance.

I'd try to get you back on the road as quick and affordable as possible. You'd have to put up with my eclectic music and suffer through my father's tour of the race side of the shop, though.

The maybe we could grab lunch. Shion might come out too!

Go to your Gmail settings -> Labs -> Enable Canned Responses

Then compose a new email response and then save it under Canned Responses -> New Canned Response...

Then you can just insert that response into any appropriate emails.

I basically live in terror of this every day.

If rubah came into my place of work, I would say hello, then tell her to go away because she obviously speaks English to a fairly advanced degree.

My boss, however, would pounce at the opportunity to show off another laowai, so rubah would probably end up sitting at the front desk welcoming people.

We would make out among the mops and boxes of straws and sugar sticks in the back because let's be honest, I would do that with anybody.

If Shiny came to my work I'd be (pleasantly) surprised and we'd probably go out and get dinner and talk about movies. Because I don't work.

If foa came into my work, I would give her a hug, say hi, and catch up about things. Assuming she was an AEGON employee (which everyone who comes into our office is, and therefore is a client) I would probably get away with spending a good hour having a good long chat. I would introduce her to my esteemed colleagues, too, who are all pretty cool'n'stuff. If it was the end of the day then afterwards we would certainly go out for drinks, and I would call Danielle and ensure she joins us.

If Loony BoB came to my workplace, he'd probably be asking for directions because it's such a huge store, so I'd send him on a wild chocobo chase in every direction but the right one.

I'd also get my staff to assemble and put out some hilarious BooBy traps for him.

I kind of ruined Laddy's opportunity to go, so I'm going to say what would happen if Laddy came to my work. Whoever posts after me should do Locky and not me.

If Laddy came in to my work today, he would not see me there, because I am trapped due to snow. So today my job is to watch tv, eat the quiche I made last night and stay warm and dry and watch it snow. We can definitely build a snow man. Hell, we could build a snow army. And then we could have a snow war. He will use strategy and I will use berserker rage. He will win, but I will feast on the innards of his snow people.

If Tara came to my work...I don't even know. I doubt I could get her doing any concreting, she'd probably be bored out of her mind tbh.

Foa (yes I'm doing foa as well cause otherwise everything is too confusing) on the other hand, straight onto the jackhammer, she would be a one woman wrecking crew.

Foa wouldn't even need equipment. She's so BA she could use her bare hands.

If Phil came into my work.....he already has! He met my clients. :)
