They are more entertaining than watching actual golf anyway.

In my humble opinion, while Happy Gilmore and Caddyshack are great films, the last ten minutes of Tin Cup really puts it higher up to the "awesome" rating, making it my favourite movie about golf. What about you guys?

I love Happy Gilmore.

Golf is not only the most boring sport ever, but it's also produced some of the most boring movies ever. Caddyshack is the only one I could get in to.

Who's Your Caddy is both groundbreaking and thought-provoking.

I like Tin Cup.

Though I do like golf itself. The Majors and the Ryder Cup anyway. Miles better than cricket.

Golf is one of the most enjoyable sports and I have come to correct the overwhelming amounts of wrong in this thread :colbert:

icefight always ends with me talking to myself.

Sarah, darling: those are the only two relevant bowling movies and the entire planet already knows it. you couldn't name a third to save your life.

Firstly, as a child, I remember enjoying Alley Cats Strike, though I can't remember anything about it right now.

Secondly, I don't know if having some scenes in a bowling alley, and some use of it in comedy scenes, classifies Big as a bowling movie.

icefight is something you don't care to comprehend. the mighty ducks is the third best hockey movie ever, but this thread is about golf.

Sorry Manus, it's the Greek Cypriot part of me that clearly doesn't get cricket!

The part where Adam Sandler is yelling and swinging his golf club at something.

I've seen Caddyshack. I was very high and do not remember any of it.

caddyshack's got Bill Murray as a crazy groundskeeper hell-bent on eradicating a gopher puppet. that alone merits a second viewing.

The gopher still needs it's own movie.

WHAT?!?!? It's not too late! It's still relevant!

Ive only ever seen Happy Gilmore.

edit: there was also this one porno i saw set on a golf course. Or at least i think it was, it had a golf cart in it, there was no actual golf.

The Legend of Bagger Vance.

Haha, only joking! Watching that was about as about as comfortable as colonic irrigation. Happy Gilmore and Caddyshack definitely top a very short list of good golf films.

There are better Bill Murray films to watch, if that's your crutch. Not good enough!

Does Space Jam count? It has golf in it...

Anyway, all I've learned from this thread is that charlie should be shot, gutted, stuffed and burned. :mad2:

Liking golf is alright, but hating cricket? I don't know what image Manus used since I'm at work, but I'm pretty sure he used the correct one regardless.
