I've heard good things about this show... I also got likened to Annie from it so now my interest has been raised to I should probably check this out to see if people are being assholes or not.

So EoFF TV Oracles - is it any good?

The first three seasons are brilliantly hilarious, it doesnt underestimate it's viewers and you can watch it multiple times to see new jokes you didnt notice before. Season 4 starts horribly but has a few laughs after the 3rd episode.

I found that it started verrrryyyy slow, and I pretty much gave up on it. Then I was at a friend's for a few drinks and we watched an episode from later in S1, and it was hilarious (this was before the drinks occurred) so I gave it another shot.

Thoroughly enjoyed it past that initial hump, and have been continuing to enjoy it to this day.

I've only seen the first two seasons, but they're both fantastic, especially the paintball episodes and the D&D one.

Community tries do to different things and often breaks the fourth wall. It's a very entertaining and funny show, but sometimes the antics it tries don't work so well. Season 2 probably has the best run.

I love this show. I find the 4th season episodes hit-or-miss so far, though.

If you like shows that make a LOT of themed episodes and pop culture references, go for it. I think the characterizations of the main characters, for the most part, have surprising depth for a sitcom (especially after watching "Remedial Chaos Theory"). I could go on forever how much I think Community is awesome, although I agree that the first season starts a little slow, but at least the actors are funny.

I'm still on Season 2. I was reallllly hesitant to watch it for a long time, but babe pushed me into it (as I did with him and Parks and Rec). I really love this show so far. The characters are just great and have amazing chemistry, there are awkward moments but they recover quickly instead of leaving your skin crawling like Curb Your Enthusiasm does. I'm interested to see how the other seasons play out but so far, I'd say it's worth it.

The first season is a little slow, but I'm finding that this is so often the case with so many shows that you have to make it to season two to give anything a real shot nowadays.

It's one of the few sitcoms that's actually watchable. Likeable characters with depth, popculture references, insane storylines and no fucking laugh tracks. That also means that it just won't appeal to most of the tv masses.

The show evolved a lot during the 1st season. Once it hit its stride in Season 2, it got SO good. The paintball episodes. AMAZING.

But then the show went a little too nuts and wasn't as good. But definitely worth watching!

The paintball episode is the best episode ever.

Do yourself a favor and stop watching after season three's finale. It ties off most major plot archs, and nothing in season four so far has justified bringing the show back after Dan Harmon was removed from it.

Also, while the paint ball episode is the high point of season one, the best episode by far is Remedial Chaos Theory (season three, episode four). The third season gets off to a slow start, but then Remedial Chaos Theory just kicks it back into gear.

The highlight of Megacon this year was also seeing someone cosplaying as Starburns.

I have a number of favorite episodes overall, and even more favorite scenes from each one. I love quoting the show.

I liked "Contemporary American Poultry" and "Modern Warfare" the best out of Season 1. The second season is probably my favorite season and I'm too lazy to list them all, but the ones that stand out the most in my mind are the two paintball episodes (the season finales), the D&D episode, and "Intermediate Documentary Filmmaking." "SET PHASERS TO LOVE ME"

I also thought S3 was pretty good... not as good as S2, but solid. I really liked the 8-bit episode, the "Glee" episode, and the heist episode. And like Ouch!, I thought "Remedial Chaos Theory" was the best one.... not only because of its timey wimey goodness, but because it shows each character's importance to the group dynamic.

Given how the episode before the puppet episode was genuinely decent and finally did something valuable with Pierce's character, it was a major disappointment. Also was that Jason Alexander? I was only half-paying attention while I was cooking dinner.

The entire puppet episode was a disaster. Usually each episode has at least one good line or scene, but the entire episode was just cringe worthy. I do not see it getting another season.

I'm not sure how anyone can like the abomination that was last night's Christmas episode. Community has gone from being a show that cleverly mocks sitcoms to becoming a sitcom that thinks its more clever than it actually is. I feel like it's suffering from a particularly bad case of trying too damn hard to be exactly what it was and falling completely flat as a result.

I enjoyed the finale the most this entire season, as well. And I agree, the wrap-up was better last season. I don't have much else to say on it, but playing with alternate timelines and paintball always make fun episodes, I guess. XD

The last three episodes I felt were when everyone was most in character. Everything else just didn't feel right otherwise--I don't know how else to explain it. I also didn't like the Kevin sub-plot. Or the way they handled the entirety of Troy and Britta's relationship. Based off last season, I was ready to think of them as cute with future minor cockblocking by Abed, but I felt like they had no development, so when they broke up (through Abed, at that), I was just like, "uh...?"

Also, I don't know if any of you follow some of the Community writers' Twitters (Andy Bobrow and Megan Ganz, in particular), but they've posted screenshots of deleted lines/scenes in the script from the aired episodes, including Pierce's lines for Intro to Knots... if he had been in the episode. Can't find them all at the moment. I think I still have several favorited on my Twitter, though.

Calliope

I think the Freaky Friday episode was my favourite, although the Troy/Britta arc never really made a lot of sense to me. I enjoyed the return of the Dark Timeline in the final episode, but I kept waiting for something to ensure Jeff wouldn't graduate.
