I'm fucking sick and tired of playing this game!!

I've been playing it almost nonstop, start to finish and back to start, pretty consistently for the better part of 3 years.

At first I was just bummed out due to personal happenings, but then I got FF3US Multi Editor to work.

Then I started a romhacking project.

I did a let's play for it right here, you remember? Only I can't keep playing it, and I don't have anything funny to say about it. This game won't let me go!! It's my favorite game in the series and now I hate it.

This seems to happen alot with games
Take Borderlands 2 for example. Everyone played it nonstop and now it's dead. The trick to loving games is to not play them to the exclusion of all other games. You'll probably come back to FFVI later. Maybe in a few weeks, months, or years.

I understand what you mean. I play my favorite games once every couple of years or so. If I played the same game over and over again, the repetition would get to me. ROM hacks can breathe new life into a game at least.
