Besides giving us a chance to give diabetes the finger, sweets are a fantastic invention. Their just so nice, and depending on who you ask, incorporates a very large amount of food, such as chocolate, candy, gummy sweets, hell, virtually every confectionary in existence would count as a 'sweet'.

So this Easter, sweets obviously become very important (as if they weren't anyway) and so this leads to us trying new sweets. There's so many of them, I make it a tradition now to eat something new, and this year I chose the marvel of the Creme Egg (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cadbury_Creme_Egg).

I know alot about them, but until today, I've never once had them. Thankfully, I won an Creme Egg Easter Egg box at sixth form for contributing alot or something, so I had the chance to eat them. My experience is detailed below.

Sam here clearly incredulous at the news.

I'm rambling now but the entire point of this thread is to marvel in the wonder of sweets. What's the most you've ever spent on sweets in one large binge?

Ok hang on I'm going to ignore the topic of this thread.

You seriously have never had a creme egg until just recently?

I eat candy like nobody's business. Personally I'm a fan of most non-original types of Skittles or Starburst. I also like Gummy Life Savers. As for chocolate, Reese's and Milky Way are excellent, as are Paydays. Anything with dark or white chocolate is divine to me.

A few years ago they were delicious but the chocolate in them sucks now, making them seem even drier.

I just ate a creme egg, they're my favorite easter-candy, how have you not had one until now?

Also, Reese's are better than mostly anything. The original, I don't like the other candies they do, especially the Big Cup Reese's, that shit is so dry.
