What should I have for breakfast? Do you have much of an appetite in the morning, or do you skip the most important meal of the day? Do you scarf down stacks of flapjacks, or measure out cupfuls of cereal armed with pottles of yoghurt? Can you survive without coffee?

Left over cold Indian food is a go.

Vegan Nutella and a lack of meat? I'm guessing my suggestion that steak is always the ideal breakfast will fall on deaf ears? :)

Yup! Other reasons my ears are deaf include:

a) I shot photos at a rock concert last night and it was the first one in a year where I had forgotten to take earplugs
b) I was awoken at 8am this morning by the sound of four guys tearing my roof apart and making so much noise/vibrations that part of my ceiling fan fell and shattered on the floor

Samosa devoured, hot toddy, drained. Next up: Hot toddy #2 and probably making some quinoa and edamame

PS - I guess I could marinate and cook tofu, but that's not really the same and I have NO GROCERIES due to my recent holiday

Do you breakfast, or don't you breakfast?

If you do breakfast -- what is your breakfast of choice?

My favorite breakfast is stuffed french toast with eggs, hashbrowns and sausage from IHOP or German pancakes with buttermilk syrup.

As both of these meals are murderously unhealthy, I stick to a good amount of blackberries and a bunch sliced strawberries with whipped cream and a mug of coffee or a chai latte for breakfast.

I breakfast intermittently depending on time, energy and hunger. The most common breakfast (if you'll call it a breakfast) is simply a cereal bar. On rarer days it might be cereal or some form of breakfast roll (eg. bacon and egg, sausage and egg, etc).

Breakfast doesn't have to be in the morning. I just consider it the first meal of the day. My dad works nights, and he eats "lunch" at work, even though his lunch is at midnight or one.

I don't eat breakfast much, and when I do, it's not breakfast food. Breakfast food makes me pretty sick, because 90% of it is sweet, and 99% of it is heavy. Even an egg dish with potatoes or toast or something is just way too heavy for me. And also, pancakes, waffles, French toast, etc...I just can't handle that first thing in the morning/after I wake up. If I'm going to eat the stuff, it's generally like, nine at night.

I do love a good Eggs Benedict, though.

I already made a breakfast thread you guys (http://home.eyesonff.com/quinas-kitchen/149526-breakfast.html) :(

And I think about making one every day because I hate eating breakfast and I never know what to do. Yesterday I had homemade vegetable soup for breakfast, today I am eating a homemade chocolate cupcake :(

I don't eat breakfast or lunch at all. If I wake up around say 6:30am, the first thing I'll eat is around 5:00pm, maybe later.

French Toast is maybe the best thing in the history of ever, though.

Breakfast is the best and I could eat it for every meal. Eggs, pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausage, omelet, toast, and even steak. it is a meal I rarely miss.

Today I had a spinach/mango/strawberry smoothie. It was pretty good, but I wouldn't want it on a freezing day.

I need to eat at least something within an hour of getting up. I have no idea how people make it to lunch without breakfast.

I love bacon sandwiches or a full english kind of breakfast, but not every day. Usually have eggs and toast.

Also eggs/steak every so often.

On an average school day, I pretty much skip breakfast and lunch and eat dinner at around 5pm.

Yeah I used to be able to do it when I was younger but these days I can go around 2 hours, 3 at a stretch.
