Do you pull all-nighters for no discernible reason?

I booted up Baldur's Gate II again, in which I create a lovely and brave heroine by the name of Baldur's Gate and played for like seven hours and I have classes and oh god this was a bad idea but it was fucking worth it.

No because it kills me. Last week I was up for about 30 hours in a row coming back from the UK and augh it was horrid, I really just wanted to end it all

I tell you what though I fell asleep about ten seconds after getting into bed that night

I used to do it all the time when I was in college. I started getting really good at only studying the night before an exam and doing really well on it with no sleep. Adrenaline, I guess.

Haven't all-nightered in a while though. Prefer sleeping.

I used to, until I became a father;

"It's Eight o'clock in the morning and you want daddy to run around and chase you after a night of level farming on Skyrim? Oh god you're so cute I can't say no...someone kill me."

Yeah I did that like once and never did it again.

Yeah, I've done that plenty of times while playing WoW or other RPG games...usually end up passing out sometime around 6 or 7 AM.

I was doing it quite a bit a few weeks ago. Now my bed is so comfy and I've been working out more and that makes me tiiired and I just go right to sleep when my head hits the pillow.

Rantz and I pretty much only pulled all-nighters watching Twin Peaks while I was in Sweden <33

I usually have a pretty strict bedtime during the week; I need around 7.5 hours of sleep each night to function well at school and the gym. I only pull all-nighters to finish assignments or when I go out drinking and don't come back until like 6 or 7 AM.

i've had some weird health problemss with my hand lately that keep me up late. i find it hard to sleep until 3 or 4am or later. im trying to change all that and get a normal sleep schedule but no luck so far. once i'm asleep i'm fine... it's just falling asleep in the first place :(

Only if I'm at a sleepover, but even then I usually can't make it past 6 am. I've only made it past 6 am once, when I was on the phone consoling my drunken, depressed ex.

No, not anymore. I need at least four hours of sleep to somewhat function.

Not kidding.

...The porn/sex jokes here are WAY to easy.

Anyway, I'm an insomniac, all-nighters for no reason are commonplace for me. :p

I don't really pull all-nighters; I don't think I ever did a single one in college, though I came close a few times. During the summer, my sleep patterns would often gravitate towards being awake all night, staying up until 7 am talking and hanging out with my friends, but then I'd sleep till 2 in the afternoon.

I have had long nights of studying, but mostly if I don't sleep much it's due to anxiety/excitement/nervousness or something. I went through a rough period where if I went to sleep before around midnight, I'd sleep exactly four hours and wake up like I'd taken a long nap. that led to a lot of 4 am breakfasts and shitty mornings.

and right now I've been awake since 5 am after going to sleep at 1. Not thrilled.

Not since I was a greasy teenager.

I pulled all nighters two weeks ago and felt horrid. I had to finish a music video, then go to work, then after work do sound design work for an animated film. So glad two out of three of those things are done. I definitely don't recommend pulling a 48 hour of no sleep. I thought I'd be done with that after uni.

I will be pulling all-nighters now that the baseball season has started again. Being in the 0.001% of baseball fans here in the UK, I regularly have to wait till midnight for the games to start. Getting up for work at 6am is not especially appealing the following day.

I may actually pull an all-nighter tonight to study for my bio exam tomorrow. :(

Not any more really.

Especially where I work 5-6 days a week it's just not possible - I sometimes stay up way later than I should and then end up regretting it.

During winter break id find myself up till like 5 or 6 am on a frequent basis

Now that im in the more demanding stages of kung fu and schools in full swing i only stay up late due to anxiety as i usually pass out as soon as i touch my bed

Like tonight! :D
Im busy panicking over a physics test im not ready for in about 6 hours.

Since I haven't been working I'm usually up until four in the morning. Once the warmer weather hits and work picks up I'll probably be in bed by eight o'clock.

I just can't do it anymore unless I'm traveling overnight or have help from caffeine.

Man even traveling overnight just kills me

I last did this when I was 21, I think. I am 30 now. I just couldn't sleep and eventually just gave up and decided to stay up. To pass the time, I played the Playstation version of FFIV until I had to go take care of whatever I had to do that day. I actually renewed my drivers license, too. And of course, the time I stayed up all night was also the time I actually had a good license photo.

I never understood why people get so excited about this. You can literally do it three or four nights a week every week and be perfectly fine.

I pull all-nighter's when my depression is at it's worse or if I got into a bad argument or had something really bad happen to me the day before. I have had to stay up for 3 nights in a row getting ready to move once because I got evicted and my ex was a jerk who went to a concert in Toronto that weekend after getting us evicted by not paying the rent for a few months and lying to me about it (he got kicked out of the concert for doing drugs btw) so he wasn't there to help pack or move or anything. He didn't tell me we were evicted until a few hours before he left too so I had to scramble. The moment it was all over I passed out on the couch, woke up 7 hours later, went to bed and slept another 11 hours. That was a long few days. I'm so glad my life isn't like that anymore.

I can't pull all-nighter's for fun, but I will occasionally stay up to 4-5 am playing video games sometimes.

Do it all the time. After a certain point, no reason not to. Actually might happen tonight/today. It's 4:20, kids get up at 6.

You can train your body to need less sleep. There's scientifics on it and stuff. And I'm tsomla sure they're snow side lazer.s
