for those who are wondering the meaning of this:

the messenger = Ultamecia

Ultamecia sleeps in the garden.

her castle is above a flower garden. It is here that she promise to meet Squall when she was Rinoa.

I think it just means that in the Garden sleeps a messager. :/

...except that her castle is quite a ways from that garden. One of the chains connects to there, but the castle isn't there.

I always thought that it was regarding Squall - Garden being Balamb Garden, and he I suppose, delivers the message to Ultimecia of "Stop dis nau bish"


Or, it could be Diablos. You attain the lamp in which he sleep in Balamb Garden from Cid. His attack is "Dark Messenger"

no it's kuz of the promise. in the flower field. she waits for him in her dream....

she is the messenger who sleeps in the garden (Rinoa) and it's in the castle kuz Ultamecia is Rinoa, in the future. The Sorceresse from the future... the last remaining sorceress....
