What is it?
It's a quick 5 player game of Mafia that should last no more than 3 hours, but probably less than that. Sign up if you want a little bit of fun - but be sure you're going to be around for the next couple of hours please!

"PARTY LIKE IT'S 1999!" screamed New Year's. This was followed by "Arrrrrrgh, my face!" and "Oh god I'm dying, please help!". Life and soul of the party, that one. As it turns out, the party for New Year's was very much over. A fellow member of Holiday Town had quite enough of that loud annoying asshole and had laced his drink with, oh, let's say porridge. New Year's was allergic to Porridge.

And so, with a murderer in their midst, Holiday Town decided it was time for a Holiday Ho-Down! The murderer must be caught!

I should point out that it's LYNCHER!

Objectives

The Mafia wins when only he and one other player are alive.

The Lyncher wins, and the game ends with no other winners, if the town lynches the Lynchee, when the Lyncher is still alive.

The Town wins when both the Mafia and Lyncher are dead, or when the Mafia is dead, and the Lynchee has been killed at night.

Typically the game only ends in a Draw when the Lyncher and the Lynchee are the last two people alive.

You may not vote for no lynch.

Looking back on what we have to go on so far, I think Christmas might be the lyncher, and I might be the lynchee. This is based on Christmas nonchalantly throwing votes my way then acting like other people are the ones going after me. Notice day 2, christmas voted for me, then asked St. Patty's why he voted for me. Seemed odd.

Quickly changing votes does exactly what I said before that it does, gets people talking. This early into a game, we know exactly nothing. The only way we get to know things is for people to talk. And not just talk trivial nonsense about actual holidays and such.

I think my earlier opinion was flawed. With this few people, with a lynch happening on only 3 votes, I don't think the lyncher would vote early. They probably wouldn't vote at all until there's already 2 votes on their lynchee. They'd just talk, try to subtly move talk to who they want to get rid of, then wait for other people to vote for them. They've also got time, it's not like they have to pull it off day one or two. It'd probably be better to lie low. All of this describes exactly one person, Easter. I don't think I'm the lynchee or Easter would have jumped all over it and won the game already. I think one of you two others are the lynchee.

OK so this is what we have:

St. Patrick's Day: Gunning for Valentine's Day because of Valentine's Day rapid vote changing.
Christmas Day: Gunning for Valentine's Day right out the door with the intention of seeing who jumps on his vote.
Valentine's Day: Assumes he is the Lynchee based on all his votes.
Easter Day: Slow as hell due to computer issues.

St. Patrick, there's a difference between protesting and voicing one's opinions. I think Easter's the lyncher, so I said so. If you were going to lynch me, my opinion should at least be out there for tomorrow, hopefully help you see through Easter.

Well, I've rebooted and I'm back. I don't see how not putting my vote out there right out the door makes me the lyncher, but we are all entitled to our opinions. I don't like that St. Patrick's Day is so unmovable about his vote, but if he's innocent then he may just not want to be swayed to change it in fear that He might be tricked into voting for the lynchee by the lyncher. Valentine's Day vote hopping doesn't strike me as a lyncher's action, but he did put the lynching vote on Halloween, and it would beneifit the lyncher the most to have Mafia out of the way, that could be suspicious. It all came down to chocolate. Valentine's Day hated Easter for muscling in on the chocolate market. With Halloween, his other chocolatey rival taken out of the picture, all he had to do was convince the drunken Irishman that bunnies are evil and scary.

And then all of the delicious brown sugary goodness was his. FOREVER.
